I want to download uTorrent on my Windows 7 home PC.

Can I? And is it safe to do so? If so, how? (Note: I've been looking all over the internet and I still can't find a definitive answer to this question. The closest thing I can find is a list of software that you can download from the official uTorrent site which doesn't actually address my question.)
