Can I be a QA tester without experience?

Is QA Tester a hard job?

At first, QA Tester does sound like a tough job.

To say that it's a difficult job to deal with the different kinds of applications, it is an important part of the software development process. But actually it's not too hard to do as long as you are really passionate about it and you love to do what you are doing.

You can make your work more fun and fulfilling if you do it in the way you want. It doesn't mean that the job is so hard, but it requires some skills. You need to be a good communicator and a problem solver in order to perform well in this role. You have to know how to analyze and prioritize the different features to do your work effectively.

The following are some key points which you should know before starting your job as a QA tester: What is a QA tester? A QA tester is someone who analyzes the user's behavior and experiences while using the software. They have to verify if the features work the way they are designed to work, check the functionalities, compatibility and other bugs.

QA testers are expected to be thorough, have good written communication skills, be able to think critically and solve problems quickly. QA Tester is a part of the software testing team. They are responsible for the quality of the software before it goes to the market.

They need to be creative and have great problem solving skills in order to discover the bugs and errors that the developers have missed. They also have to understand the importance of a product and provide the best support to the users as they test and review the application. They are accountable for every single detail.

Who needs QA testers? QA Testers are needed in almost every software development process. But there are different kind of testers that you can find. For example, Manual testers usually are engaged in testing the products before they go to the market. They use their own devices to verify the functionalities and performance of the software.

Automation testers are involved in automation testing. This testing technique is utilized to check the automated processes. They are engaged in testing the automated applications before they go to the market.

Functional testing includes testing the features of the applications. For example, testing the UI and functionality of the applications.

Can I be a QA tester without experience?

Yes.

And in any case, you will gain experience. One of the reasons many (not all) companies are open to new hires is that experience can be acquired.
(A small subset of companies that are especially open to new workers who have not previously worked at the company don't just say "Sure we're open to new hires, what experience would you like to show us?" but rather just ask you for what skills/experiences you bring to the table. Companies are generally open to that because they realize it gives them a chance to see what you can do.)

But should I get my own certification? I'm not familiar with any that will only give you a qualification if you complete a course with a time limit. But there's no harm in asking on a few different forums and websites you visit to see if they offer free courses or certifications or just certificates. Here's a list of Q&A sites that allow free public accounts.
