The Greatest Showman Gracey has captured the exuberance of the circus like never before, delivering one high-wire performance after another while capturing a slice of Americana that may be missing from this movie business. (M) Read my review.

Director Carlos Saldanha makes the sequel more entertaining, light, and whimsical than its predecessor, and he manages to include more cameos of familiar faces such as Mark Wahlberg, Jennifer Lopez, and Anne Hathaway. What's on US Netflix and not UK?

Is anyone else finding that there is a huge difference between what shows are available to watch in the US versus the UK? Some UK shows are not available to watch, whilst others are (eg Sherlock). Some I've watched recently, like Peaky Blinders are still not available - although they have been for a long time! ? I'm currently reading the US version of Gone Girl - a pretty solid mystery/thriller by Gillian Flynn which will make its way over here at some point. It's being released on the 14th September but there's no UK release yet.

Are there any other ones like this? I've read some of your suggestions which seem to have a lot of the UK TV shows that aren't available. Not that I'm complaining about the lack of UK TV on Netflix. It's just a little annoying.

Yeah - it's annoying that Gone Girl was released in the US before the UK. I think it may be coming out on Blu-Ray later in the year, but no idea if that includes a UK release. I don't know when it will get a UK release - it seems to be an American release exclusive, with no UK date yet. I think they're going to do that with all the new TV series that are coming up at the moment.

Gone Girl certainly isn't the only one like this - I've read some where there were a few others. It's pretty irritating when it's not released here yet.

Just checked and Gone Girl is on UK Netflix and available to watch on the 13th September. I don't know if that will be your release date, but it'll be mine.

Have just done a search on the net and found some other ones - I didn't know there were so many of them.
