What's on USA Netflix but not UK?

I am trying to be fair in my Netflix viewing choices.

Because we don't live with the other wife, I tend to only view what I want and my son just seems to see something from his friends' accounts. If I had unlimited bandwidth I'd give myself more choices as our broadband connection is always patchy and drops out regularly.

My suggestion is that we each try to do this and then post results. I will start with this thread.

Here are a few common titles, based on TVGuide's top 60 list of what's on Netflix in the USA but not in the UK. As the lists come from TVGuide who might have the same selection as the UK you might be able to eliminate some of these. Also note they cover the top 60 for most shows in the UK so a few won't show up in the USThe list also includes things like Disney Princess Classics which I couldn't care less about. So ignore all those. But maybe they were on Netflix in the US.

Also the list only features TV shows. Some films could vary in the USA and the UK so this list doesn't count. If people are finding something I haven't found we could all try together to locate it for everyone's benefit. Please leave a comment in this topic if you spot something. And remember if one person has an item available that I'm missing (ie: there are 30 of them and I'm missing one) don't tell me about it in this thread or PM me. Keep it here.

Ok so after a number of days I decided to watch "Grimm". The first half hour was ok but not particularly gripping but the second half got really interesting as it involved more fairy tales and even more monsters than Grimm usually features. The second half finished strong with a chase and battle climax which really drew me in.

If you have been searching for this title, don't bother searching any more. You'll see what happened to me but it's actually a spoiler.

We also added a whole pile of kids cartoons to my favourites bar. We have watched a lot of Dora the Explorer and Spongebob.

I'll continue the posts from TVGuide's top 60 with 2 new ones posted today. It might not be the best source, some of their titles are missing, however. I'll probably run into this trouble on Monday.

What things are on American Netflix?

There's no better way to keep yourself occupied while you wait for that perfect date than watching Netflix.

But what's available on Netflix in the US? I used to look into what shows were coming to Netflix UK.

It was a mess. I mean, there are over 7,000 shows. How would I keep track of all of them? I'd just spend the day doing nothing except watch Netflix and have no idea which shows are new. It's even worse now that I don't live in the UK. It's impossible to find what's coming to Netflix here in the US.

The answer is to create an app that pulls data from all the different streaming services (eg, Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime). I've been using Nuvola to track what's on Netflix in the US. This is an app that can pull from all the different streaming services, including Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu, and HBO Now. This is the kind of thing I always look for when traveling, especially to Canada. But it also works great at home.

To use the app, you'll need a computer or Mac with Chrome or Safari installed. I found it easiest to use Chrome. Then, head over to nuvola.com and sign up for the free trial. You'll get access to 5 months of free use.95/month. If you go this route, you cancel at any time.

Once you've signed up, it'll ask if you want to be on the weekly or monthly updates. I'd recommend the monthly update. The weekly updates are more often than not, inaccurate. The monthly updates will provide you with the correct shows and movies. You can also unsubscribe from all of the notifications, but I found I liked getting the emails with new shows and movies. I could keep an eye on what was coming to Netflix and add new shows and movies to my queue.

If you're a Chrome user, you can download the app through Google Chrome. Now, open up your browser and head over to nuvola. You'll need to sign up for the service.

What movies does USA Netflix have?

I know you guys said that we have no movies to watch for a few days but I had a question: We will be going to New Zealand soon (if I can't get any US Netflix by the time we get there) and I was just wondering if the US Netflix has more movies or not. The only movies that they have here are The Avengers, Captain America, X-men, Iron Man 2, Green Lantern, Star Trek, Pirates of the Caribbean and Terminator. I really want to watch a bunch of movies on the trip but I don't want to waste my data plan if I already have movies available on the USA Netflix.

So basically, is the USA Netflix the same as our Netflix? Or is there more movies and shows available? If you have an unlimited data plan then you can watch as many movies as you like on the Vodafone NZ Netflix service (and no doubt on the Vodafone USA Netflix service too). I do have an unlimited data plan but I'm not sure how much data I'll use. It's up to you. If you decide to watch a movie or two, it won't take long.

I was watching a movie in the other room for almost 2 hours a day on the Vodafone NZ Netflix service and I don't think that I ever used even close to 200MB of data. Also, when you travel abroad, it doesn't mean that you have to pay international roaming charges on your smartphone if you're on a Vodafone contract. The data usage is likely to be negligible if you watch a movie or two.

But remember that the prices of movies and TV shows on the Vodafone NZ Netflix service are quite high.99 That's why you don't want to watch any more than two movies or two episodes of TV shows per month on the Vodafone NZ Netflix service. What is only available on Netflix USA?

Only the USA!

Why? Because we thought of the idea for that video! We are not so great, all we did was make a video about why there isn't Netflix on all of these international countries. If we had more money, we could make a few more videos like that! So what's on Netflix. Just kidding, maybe I shouldn't joke around while drinking. The same movies are available on netflix.com as Netflix USA is available, all except for a couple that have different versions than on Netflix USThese are the countries: Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Japan, Netherlands, Australia, United Kingdom, India, Mexico, Latin America, China and Norway.

No, seriously, why? Netflix doesn't distribute movies for certain countries because they think that their government might see the films in question and then try to put a "fire-ban" on them. Yes that's really what their website says.

Is Netflix legally allowed to do that? There is no "Fire Ban" here in Ireland. Our media laws in Ireland make it illegal to publish material that could be interpreted as inciting religious or ethnic hatred in the public. Netflix doesn't censor movies, but they don't distribute them either. By restricting them, Netflix isn't breaking any laws.

I'm looking at the UK catalogue, how many films are on there compared to the one here? The UK catalogue has 1,250 movies. The US only has 1,200 plus, but it's on Netflix UK as well. I checked them both, but just to be doubly sure it isn't just the UK that's limited.

Which version of Star Trek: Into Darkness would be available? All versions are available. Except for Blu-Ray, which is only on the USA Netflix and Star Trek, which is only on NetFlix.

Do you know why? I do. And the truth hurts. The movie Star Trek II had the worst opening weekend ever in United States box office history. On top of that, all the other movies were released a long time before Star Trek II, so they had to make cuts to those movies to allow them time to get rid of their movie stars.

How can that be? The other versions came out later? Exactly!
