Which VPN is better than Mullvad?

There are many VPNs, and many people who say that Mullvad is better than others.

This is not a review. There are many reviews that I have read. What I want to do is to show you how you can find out yourself which VPN is the best for you.

This is a little guide with a few tips and tricks that you can use when you start using a VPN. I also tell you which VPN I use myself.

What is a VPN? You may be wondering what a VPN is. The simple definition is that a VPN is a virtual private network. You can use it to browse the web, or to use services like the Netflix.

Why you should use a VPN? This is a question you may also be asking. When you surf the web, you have no privacy. Your ISP (the company that owns the fiber line that runs into your house) knows all your browsing history. They also know which websites you visit. And if you use a public WiFi, they know everything you do in there.

Even if you use Tor, a VPN will protect your privacy. You may think that Tor protects you, but it does not. It just hides your IP address.

VPNs work by encrypting your connection. The VPN connects you through a server that the ISP does not know.

Which VPN is better than others? To find out, I decided to look around a little. Here are a few VPNs that I would recommend. I have tried them myself.

A few notes before I continue. These are not my opinions, they are the opinions of the VPNs themselves. I do not endorse any of them.

I will mention that some VPNs only work in a certain countries. So if you live in one of these countries, you will be limited to what you can do online.

Mullvad VPN. What is Mullvad? The Mullvad VPN is based in Sweden. They provide secure VPN servers to many countries.

You can use the VPN to surf the web, and watch Netflix. How do I install the VPN? The instructions on their website are very clear. Just follow the steps and you will have a working VPN connection.

What happened in my case? I have a new Mac and decided to buy a subscription to Mullvad. So they asked for my credit card back and then charged me a huge amount of money for the subscription that I wasn't even using.

The company I called was called "Mullvad" and was based in Uppsala Sweden. They kept insisting that I had bought a "monthly" plan, which made it seem like I was paying each month, not for a full year as was explained.

I tried to contact the CEO/owner of the company but they always ignored me and wouldn't even talk to me. Eventually I contacted my bank and they took care of my case for me.

This is what the guy at the end of the phone told me. "Well you have purchased a 1 year plan, so I can only refund your money minus 4 euros for administration fees." Well I said, what about my money that was charged and they refused to help me. I couldn't even get a refund. That's why I'm writing this review, so that other people know not to use the company or just ask if the service is any good, they will say we're good, but they will never help you.

I am sorry you didn't receive the service that you expected. It looks like you were contacted by a very unhappy customer care agent, this is not an issue of service, it has to do with our processes here at Mullvad. I wish I could change your experience. Unfortunately, after we received the request to refund the monthly fee, we automatically closed your account.

Please try to contact us again directly to explain your case in order to be refunded. Sorry for your dissatisfaction. The account has been closed due to a payment error made by the buyer. We've sent an email to confirm the refund of your money and await for the action of the customer care team to close the account.
