Does blocking on Instagram block the device?
I've been receiving "unexpectedly terminated" or "disconnected" notifications on Instagram.
For now, I'm only experiencing this on my iPhone 5S with iOS 7.
If I don't get the notification from Instagram, I will use Instapaper to read the article. After a few days, the app will still be in my Recent Apps tab, but the notifications from Instagram will stop.
I thought this was a temporary thing, so I've left Instapaper in my Recent Apps tab for over one month, and it's still there in my Recent Apps. The problem is not solved yet.
It's so frustrating. If there's an option to block the notifications of apps like Instapaper, Instagram, I would do it immediately. I can't wait until this problem solved.
For some reason, the notifications from Instagram have stopped for me, but I don't experience the problem on my iPhone 4S with iOS 6. It's driving me crazy. This is not something that happens to me when I'm using my phone.
What's going on with your phone? Does it use data or WiFi for all of your networking? If so, you might want to look into what WiFi is being used for. Is it the hotspot for your carrier? How long ago did you notice this issue? I had the exact same thing happen with Google Plus and Facebook. In fact, I had to completely uninstall both of them just because I was getting so frustrated. I had to manually turn them back on. Once I did that, everything went back to normal.
This happens to me when I'm switching between WiFi and 3G, which seems to be happening all the time. When I get home and turn WiFi off, my phone just starts displaying the notifications of apps that I'm used to getting on the 3G. The most recent example is Instagram, but there were other ones too. This is the only app that gets affected by this.
I had the same problem, and it took a while to solve it. I have to use the mobile data every time my phone connects to WiFi, and it doesn't happen very often, so that's why it takes a while to be fixed. I hope this helps!
We are using your phone as a hotspot and we are sending a lot of data. Sometimes our server does not work correctly.
What happens when someone blocks you on Instagram?
When You See the Blocked Screen, What Happens?
Your first instinct may be to click the blue arrow and see if you can fix the issue, but that's not the right action. You should never try to go through the process of blocking someone when it is something you didn't do in the first place. It will simply result in an increase in blocked people.
When someone blocks you on Instagram, they're telling the world that they don't want to be in your social media space anymore. Even if you're not sure why they're blocking you, it's important to get to the bottom of why.
In this article, I'll cover , why you shouldn't click the blue arrow, and how to handle a blocked person once you figure out what happened. What happens when you see the blocked screen? If someone blocks you on Instagram, they're notifying you and everyone else that they don't want to be in your Instagram feed anymore. This could because they don't like your looks, you're annoying them, or for some other reason.
If you see that you've been blocked on Instagram, you'll be presented with an error message and a small box where you can write something to explain your problem. In my experience, most people tend to choose to block the person and just leave it at that.
Click on the block box and write an explanation of what the problem is and then hit send. If you're unsure of what to say, just ask for feedback from people you're friends with. Just keep it short and to the point.
I always recommend starting with I'm sorry, I didn't mean to upset you, please let me know if there's anything I can do to fix the situation. Sometimes when we make mistakes in life we don't think to apologize, which is why it's best to be apologetic as soon as possible.
Why you shouldn't click the 'block' button. Do you feel like you have a legit reason to block someone?
Does Instagram block your IP?
The answer is a very simple one.
Yes, the block is not accidental.
If we look at Instagram's help center (I looked at the first page), it says. If you're being blocked, please contact us immediately at support@instagram.com so that we can help resolve the issue. If you've already contacted us but have yet to hear back from us, please note that we may need a few days to respond.
There is a very serious problem with this answer. A few days? A week? A month? In all my years of reading FAQs, I've never found such a response. This tells me two things. 1) Instagram's support team does not have enough time to answer every single inquiry about their service. (Why should they have to do that?) 2) This team does not have enough people to manage this kind of volume. (If you have questions about how Instagram works, there are plenty of other places to ask.) But, let's assume, for the sake of argument, that Instagram has enough time and resources to address every complaint. (In this post, I use Instagram to include Facebook as well as the standalone app.)
If Instagram's support team were to follow the guidelines in the paragraph above, they should be able to tell you what you can do to get unblocked. Instead, the paragraph above says: The second thing that troubles me about this is the phrase If you've already contacted us. Let's assume that I'm an internet user, and I've been blocked. I log on to my account and realize I've been blocked. How can I get unblocked? I don't know. Is it just that I can't get answer because I have to contact them?
