Luckily, it is, and here's how to access it: Connect your LG Smart TV to the internet. You should always connect your LG Smart TV to the internet before using it. While it's usually a good idea to use a VPN when browsing the web, you should also avoid doing this while you watch television shows or movies. There are two ways to connect your LG Smart TV to the internet: Connecting directly to the internet: The easiest way is by connecting it to your router. Simply plug it into the router's Ethernet port, and then enter the IP address of your router in the settings of the LG Smart TV. Does LG have a VPN app?
Just an FYI I can't get any app that lists LG as a VPN provider to download. In fact all I get are those apps that you don't want to download.
I have a Moto G4 with Lineage OS so I think it's up to date on all apps but for some reason I can't get any LG VPN app to download and there's no way to download one. I am thinking it's because I'm on Froyo.
If anyone has any experience with this I'd love to know if I'm stuck in the stone age or something. Re: LG has a VPN app? I don't know what version of Lineage you're using. But you should be able to download VPN apps. You can even try downloading from the Google Play store.
I have the LG V20 (Verizon) and Lineage OS 21.2 with a VPN enabled. It has worked just fine. I don't know if it is possible to re-enable the VPN after you've disabled it. I would say that you're not in the stone age. Your phone should support VPNs just fine.
You could also try looking for VPNs to download via WiFi.e. For example, I downloaded this one when I was in Japan.
