Does Stremio still work?

Why is my Stremio not working?

(It's like Spotify)?

Stremio is great in many aspects but why it's not working for me is hard to understand. My problem started one day when a friend of mine recommended me this app. I don't know why but ever since then the video files would not be recognized on my phone and neither did audio files.

My phone doesn't have an external SD card and there are also other apps that don't work properly because of this. I can't play any song or video file as I see it's always says the files aren't supported on mobile. The problem seems to be with the app that it does not know how to manage files.

I'm using a Samsung Galaxy A3 which is out of stock. I also tried with a second phone with the same results.

Has someone experienced this before? What should I do? What kind of issues am I facing and what do I have to do to make the app working for me? Have you checked if a file is supported for Android mobile by clicking on the link you get from the error message? What kind of media are you trying to play? Thanks for your comments! Hello, thanks for your answer! The media I try to play is audio or video files such as mixtapes or just songs like Rihanna, Eminem, Katy Perry etc. At first when I launched Stremio it told me it wasn't supported and even after I downloaded and installed the Android version it is still the same. I tried playing some movies and some TV shows and it says "No media file available on your device".

I tried the link provided in the error message but it doesn't show any information about the supported types or versions for each mobile phone. Have you tried playing the audio files you mention? That is a common thing that makes people think they have Stremio installed in the wrong way. It's not supported by many phones.

The solution for this is just to open the playlist settings for Stremio and disable the "Play songs that are not on my mobile". Just click on the three-dot icon in the top right corner of Stremio, select "Playlist settings" and click "Disable". From here you can re-enable the Stremio mobile mode and you will be able to start streaming music without the need to download songs first.

Why is Stremio not streaming?

Why does it take so long for Stremio to respond to the error message Not streaming?

It is very annoying that Stremio does not send the error message Not streaming when it fails to stream a file. This message should be sent automatically after the file is downloaded and after the download has been completed. The error message could be as follows: This content cannot be played because of an error while downloading it. It takes some time for Stremio to respond to the error message Not streaming. Stremio should always respond to the error message Not streaming quickly.

Hi, I think this is just a bug. If you want Stremio to send you the error message Not streaming, just go to Stremio settings and tick the box Always send error messages.

Hello. Thank you for your feedback.

Does Stremio still work?

Yes, although the latest beta is incompatible.

So Stremio will work for now. You can read the story of how it works here:

Which are the best Linux torrent clients? I think Vuze, Transmission, Deluge and Vixi are the most advanced ones. What are the best sites to seed torrents? For Linux they are the following: bt3pl.de or They allow you to easily create your torrents.

How do I add friends in Stremio? After that, add your username and then press create. How do I invite a friend into Stremio? Then your friend should be prompted with Open Stremio. Is the client free or do you need a subscription? It's free. There's also a Pro version which is also completely free. You only need to pay if you'd like to customize your interface and remove the ads.

Can I add a custom download folder? You can make one by going to Tools -> Settings -> General. Do you get support for me?

How do you get streams on Stremio?

Our latest update includes the ability to add your favourite Twitch and YouTube channels, plus custom watchlists and a much improved Twitch interface.

Streamers are already taking advantage of all these features.

To set up a stream, go to Channels on the main menu (or go to Channels in the left-hand menu). In the search box, type the name of the channel you'd like to stream from, eg Minecraft or Tekken. You'll then see the various streams being played in the channel list. Click on a stream to start it playing. You can edit a stream at any time by opening it from the Channels tab.

We think this is one of the greatest innovations in online streaming in a long time - it's really easy to start a new channel with a URL that points directly to a stream (and it will load as a live video stream with no ads), but we still have lots of work to do on stream quality and our own Live Video Streaming service. For example, it's currently not possible to record a video stream (in Stremio V3 we added Twitch integration which made recording possible) or to create your own live video stream. We'll announce more about this shortly.

There is one way of creating a new channel in Stremio though. Stremio is a free internet TV / radio app that runs on Windows and Android. We recently released an update to include live streaming for over 100 popular Twitch and YouTube channels. For most people that means their Twitch and YouTube stream are accessible from the app (rather than having to open them in a web browser), with many options for customising a stream (like changing colour scheme, setting the chat background, turning off some chat features or adding your own emotes). However, we've been getting requests for the ability to do the same for more channels that aren't included, so we're taking another stab at it.

What if you don't use Twitch? You might be wondering if you have any alternative, especially since we didn't really tell anyone about this news initially! You're right: until recently, there has only been one option: YouTube.
