Who is the owner of Immersive Labs?

We are working with a different company for each one of these pieces of equipment.

Some of the companies we use are: Immersive Labs (The one that you know best of them all), Virtual Worlds, KMS Entertainment, The 3rd Eye and W3X. These are the only companies we are able to work with because of the licenses they have and the agreements we have with each of them.

Is Immersive Labs an authorized 3rd party on any of these products? Yes, Immersive Labs is the authorized 3rd party for the following companies: The 3rd Eye, Immersive Labs, Virtual Worlds, KMS Entertainment, W3X and X4D. Does Immersive Labs work in Virtual Worlds or other locations? Not all of our locations are VR compatible but most of them are. If your location is not, we can either install one for you or do the work on-site.

What's your pricing structure like? Our pricing is based on where you are located as well as how many people are going to be using the equipment. Our pricing is very competitive. As far as I know, we are the most competitive provider out there. We always strive to be.

How much time and travel is involved? It's very minimal when it comes to the equipment that is in a location. What do I need to bring? We will make sure that we have the equipment that is necessary for your project. We are going to check all of the hardware and make sure that it is ready for the project. We will provide you with all the training and instructions that you will need.

Are you capable of doing anything else for me besides just VR? Yes, we have done motion capture on live action footage before. We would be happy to send you the footage after you have completed your project.

I'm a member of an organization that wants to use Immersive Labs, do you charge the entire organization? Do you have VR equipment set up at your facility? You will need to schedule an appointment in our website and we will confirm the availability of the equipment that is needed for your project. Can you guarantee that your techs have been trained and certified on the equipment? Each of our technicians have their own certification. They are tested monthly to make sure they have the knowledge to properly support their equipment.

How does Immersive Labs work?

The Immersive Labs program runs in parallel with our commercial program and offers companies the chance to design, build and test their own immersive product at scale.

They are designed for people like you who want to do more than watch VR. They're also perfect for startups that need to quickly prototype and iterate. In total, over the last two years, we've run 13 Immersive Labs, covering a broad range of disciplines and areas of interest.

It's safe to say we learned a lot along the way. Today, we're sharing some of the lessons we've learned and how we're continuing to evolve Immersive Labs in the future.

Immersive Labs is for you. Today's Immersive Labs are designed for people who have never used VR before, or for people who just want to jump straight in. We're making the best use of our time and resources, so we focus on the most important problems that companies need to solve in this space: how to build trust with customers, how to create an emotional connection, how to drive conversions.

We provide access to some of the world's best 3D content, all made by our partners. And we're focused on giving you the flexibility to prototype, iterate, and explore without needing to invest weeks or months in design, prototyping, development, and QWe know that not everyone is a developer, so we're also working on tools and training to help more people get involved. We're also starting to create tools and content for companies who are looking to solve more complex problems, and who want to experiment with new kinds of VR experiences.

Immersive Labs are about speed. The first thing you'll notice is that we don't spend a lot of time on talking about VR or on talking at all. Immersive Labs have more in common with product design labs than traditional VR demos. For us, it's all about the learning curve and being able to build new experiences, faster.

Our goal is for companies to be able to prototype, iterate, and test their ideas as fast as possible. That's why Immersive Labs are designed to make sure you can spend less time building and more time developing.

Is Immersive Labs free?

Can I create a free account? Yes, but you have to go through a tutorial. You don't have access to the features until you complete the tutorial.

Are Immersive Labs reviews? Yes, but we only give them out on a case-by-case basis. We also ask that you share your experience with Immersive Labs with other students, and help them learn to develop their own web pages. It's a win-win.

How many hours does it take to learn how to develop an Immersive Labs web page? You can find out when you sign up. For most people, it takes between one and two hours to become proficient in creating a web page.

How much does Immersive Labs cost? There are no costs associated with Immersive Labs. How do I pay for my Immersive Labs account? We take payments by PayPal. It's a safe, secure method. Once you pay for your account, you will get an email with instructions.

Is Immersive Labs a course? Yes, but Immersive Labs is not like any other online course. It is all about providing an immersive experience where you learn how to develop web pages for any topic.

I thought Immersive Labs was for kids, why can I learn how to make websites? Children are the future. We designed Immersive Labs so that anyone can learn how to create web pages for any topic.

I didn't read the documentation. What should I do? Please don't worry, we'll walk you through the process. I'm having trouble creating a website. Try contacting our support team for help. Why can't I delete my account? We don't have any plans to remove the account feature. Will I be able to transfer the web pages I've created to my own site? Yes, you can. The best way to learn how to develop your own site is to share your experience with others and ask questions. We are available to assist in the development of your site.

How do I get a refund for Immersive Labs? If you're not happy with the service, just ask for a refund.

Where is Immersive Labs based?

In 2026, we purchased a 3,800 acre property about an hour outside of Portland.

The property has a large lake, woods, and streams. Immersive Labs is located there.

Why did you decide to purchase the property? We saw that land as undervalued. We also saw it as a great opportunity to start experimenting with different things.

How will the property be used? We're exploring the development of new technology around a shared learning experience. The property will serve as the base of operations for the experimentation.

How will the education platform be distributed? We'll be making tools and platforms available through our development center for people to be able to learn and play. For example, we are in talks with the University of Texas to make a course we created available on the platform.

Is this the only project you've been working on at Immersive Labs? This project is the only one we're making official, but we've certainly experimented with many more since 2026. For instance, we wanted to develop a virtual reality headset, and our Oculus Rift prototype proved to be a good fit for that project.

What do you want to see on your platform? We want to democratize educational experiences. Right now, there are people who can create and distribute content, and people who can't. We want to change that. As we look into our future, there's going to be a lot of education happening in these digital spaces. Some people are creating content, and some people are going to be consuming content.

What advice can you offer to those considering starting their own startup? It's not easy. It's challenging. But that's what makes it worth it. There's something beautiful about breaking out of the confines of conventional ways of doing things. Even though this is a large endeavor, it's still fun.
