I'm in the market for an all-in-one package. If I can get a decent router and USB 3. But with an HD router that supports DD-WRT, DD-WRT has a pretty easy-to-use web interface. I'm just wondering if Nord is comparable or if Surfshark is better (since it's more expensive).

I've used Surfshark in the past, and it was very easy to use. But it seems like Nord also has a fairly good web interface. So I'm trying to decide which one is better.

My experience with Surfshark was that their "easy to use" web interface had issues when I needed to do advanced things. Their new interface is much easier to use and has a lot of functionality. I found Nord's apps a little easier to use but I am new to Android so I don't know how similar they are to DD-WRT's apps.

I haven't tried the Surfshark interface on the RT-N16, but I have a couple of friends who have them. It's not as easy to use as the DD-WRT web interface, and it does have a few issues. But it's a bit more powerful as well.

For example, the Surfshark wifi dashboard lets you configure WiFi options in seconds, while DD-WRT needs to go into the Wifi settings, enable WiFi, and then go back to the Wifi Dashboard to change the WiFi password. But with that said, it's pretty easy to set up the Surfshark router. It's not that hard, but it's different.
