Why can't I connect to VPN on Windows 10?

I can't connect to VPN on my Windows 10 computer. I had been using Windows 7 earlier, but I'm trying to move my PC to Windows 10. I've been trying to follow instructions from the following sites: I still have a network that I connected to my previous PC (Windows 7). I've already done all the steps in Step 2 of each instruction above.

After doing all the steps mentioned in the above pages, I've already tried restarting my computer. I've also tested by using a network cable and my router and both of them work perfectly. I also tried using a different network card and it did not work either.

Is there anything else that I can try? Or am I just going crazy because I'm trying to use the same PC for two OS versions? Please let me know if you need more information about what I've tried so far.
