Which SOCKS5 is the best?

There are a few different clients out there, the best one I've tried was the Windows 10 version of Qihoo 360 Socks 5, and that's what I'm currently using (I do have a Linux computer, but it runs the latest Debian 9). The only Linux one that I've tried is the SOCKS5 proxy that you can use in most of the routers out there, as well as in Tor.

So which is the best? To find out, we decided to take a look at five different clients and find out how good they were, we also did some real tests where I'd connect to a site from several different sources, including the different clients. Client Comparison. The comparison was made over two parts, one where I connected directly to HMAI/ChinaUnblock and found out how it would work. You can read the notes on the individual tests on each page, so there's more info there.

For comparison we wanted to find out how much of a difference was made by the different clients compared to when we do the direct connection. In most cases we did use the same connection, or just close the browser when not actively using it.

So that might look like this: Windows 10 I did use the Get IP address button on the taskbar instead of using the built-in client since the latter won't connect via SOCKS5, but otherwise used a connection from that client. Android I used an IP-address from the Android and used the stock built-in client, and didn't disconnect from that. IOS The same as Windows 10, but using my home WiFi.e. Linux I used the Socks 5 client in the network settings. Tests. One thing we did was use a site that we knew had servers based in China. One of the first things we did with this was to try to connect using a server inside China and see what happens. Unfortunately we never got any answers from the test, as all we got was HTTP 1.1 200 OK, no response to anything. This tells us that something has gone wrong in the handshake process.

However when using servers based outside of China it worked fine.

How to get SOCKS5 proxy?

I'm trying to use SOCKS proxy for my web browser (Firefox) so I can use it without having to type the proxy's ip address every time. I have tried different solutions but they don't seem to work. Can someone help me out here? Just type about:config into your URL bar in the Firefox address bar and click enter. In the dialog that comes up, look for network.socks, change the value of socks to point to a SOCKS5 proxy.

This should be a valid proxy for you. It will probably need to be restarted for the change to take effect.

Which proxy server is best free?

My friend and I are debating which proxy server to use on our home network.

He runs a large internet site and I run a small one. I'm the only user on my home computer. We both have a few thousand visitors daily.

I'm running a Linux distro and he's running a Mac OS. He wants to try Tor to hide his traffic. I don't want any users to be able to see that I'm downloading movies or music.

The reason I want to use a proxy is because my ISP's modem sometimes cuts out and I lose all internet for about a minute. I don't want people to be able to tell what I was doing when I was offline.

We want to use a proxy so we can have more control over who gets access to our networks and what they do while they're connected. We are currently using Squid, but it does not work well with some programs, such as Deluge. It's nice, but it's not perfect.

I just wanted to make sure that it was not something like that, in which case, we wouldn't want to use a proxy. Tor is good for browsing the web anonymously but you will be leaving your IP address everywhere you go unless you use a VPN. I also think you need to watch out for the fact that you might get into trouble with your ISP if you download large files, but this is easily avoidable by choosing a smaller file and then using a torrent client. Well, for me, I am interested in making it easier for me to view torrents without having to use a torrent client. So I thought about using a proxy to help me with that. I'm not sure how a proxy server works, but it seems like a good idea to hide my IP address. And since I can download anything I want through the proxy server, it won't matter if my IP address is exposed.

I would like to be able to browse anonymously, download torrents, watch videos, etc. Without having to worry about what I'm downloading. I don't want my ISP to be able to tell what I was doing at any given time.

Is there a way to run the proxy server on my home computer while not having to use a router? We want to be able to run it on our computer.
