Why is Netflix saying I don't have an account?
I signed up for Netflix using my credit card that was linked to my Amazon Prime account.
Then I went to purchase the app for Android and I put in my Prime card, but it says "Amazon" and says I don't have an account. I have to put in my card number and then I have to put in my password. It just says that I don't have account even after I put in the correct credit card info, correct card number, correct expiration date, etc. And I also signed up on all the required devices.
Also I'm having issues with Netflix - whenever I start watching the app keeps crashing because of an unknown error and tells me to log in, which I've done like 5 times now. Re: ? It sounds like there may be a problem with your Amazon Prime account. As an Amazon Prime member, you'll get Netflix through the service. But if you bought Netflix through Amazon's site (via some credit card) instead of through the Prime membership, then you can only get it by logging into your Amazon account.
If that's the case, the best way to fix this might be to link your Netflix account with your Amazon Prime account. To do that, log into your Netflix account. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click on Sign In.
Enter your email address, choose a username, and you're good to go. If you don't have an Amazon account, you'll be asked to create one.
You can also use the app instead of the website. To do so, tap on the 3 lines on the bottom of the app. You'll be greeted with a new menu. Select Manage your account to log into your Netflix account. If you don't have one, click on Create an account and follow the prompts.
Now, you should be able to watch Netflix. You'll be redirected to the appropriate page once logged in.
If it doesn't work, try again later, or contact Netflix support directly for help. Okay so I managed to solve the problem!
How do I recover my Netflix account?
If you're having trouble logging into your account on Netflix.
Com or on a device, the first thing you should try is to reset your Netflix password. To do that, you need to log in to your Netflix account, then head to the Account menu at the top of the screen.
Next, click on Change Password. A pop-up window will appear on your screen and ask for your current password, the new password, and a re-confirmation of the new password. When you're done, click Update Password and you'll be prompted to enter your new password. Then, head back to the Account menu, and click on Reset Password. This will log you out of your Netflix account and log you back in with a new, randomly generated password. Once you've reset your password, it's a good idea to sign out of Netflix and then back in to your account again. This will make sure that your Netflix password has been changed, so you don't need to worry about entering it again when you sign in.
How do I find my username or email address? If you can't remember your username or email address, you can search for it. First, head to the My Account menu, and click on User Details. Next, type in the name or email address you want to search for, and then press Search. The results will come up, and you'll be able to see whether the name or email address exists in your account. You can also click on the I'm Feeling Lucky button to see what results Netflix has for that name or email address. If you still can't find the name or email address you want, you can search for it by typing it into the search box at the top of the page. How do I find my password? If you have trouble remembering your password, you can search for it.
Why is Netflix saying my account is no longer active?
If you haven't created an account for the last several months and you suddenly received an email today or a few days ago notifying you that your account is no longer active, then it sounds like this is going to be a short email, because according to Netflix, you have a number of options when it comes to recovering your account. We can take a look at those options right now, but if it sounds like this could happen to you, keep in mind that Netflix has over 40 million customers around the world and many of those people are unaware that they may have accidentally canceled their subscription and need to take action to recover it.
Netflix says that any cancellation of your subscription is automatically communicated via the website or the app. If you are logged into your account on Netflix.com or on the mobile app, then there's no real way for Netflix to find out whether you have cancelled your service, or not. When you get the notification that your account has been cancelled and your credit card is charged for the difference, and it can take up to 24 hours for those charges to be completed, it seems like you might get that notification if it's just a case where you logged in for a moment and that was enough time to alert Netflix. So, assuming your account hasn't been inactive for a few months, then that message should go away soon. Or, you may not have gotten that email at all and your cancellation will happen the next time you log in. If you're concerned about whether or not your account is still active, you can log in from a different device to check. When you create an account, you're asked to make a security question. If you don't remember the question you were asked, then it's a good idea to reset it for the next time you log in, or wait until the email comes in cancelling your service.
If you've created an account before or if you can't remember your security question, then the first thing you need to do is to contact Netflix customer support. They have a phone number at 800-743-4000.
