How do I disable proxy code in Visual Studio?
I'm trying to find a way to disable the proxy settings in Visual Studio 2023. I'm working on a project that needs to be deployed to multiple locations and I have set the proxy to automatic. My solution is using the web services on the server side, but the proxy settings seem to be conflicting with this. When I set the proxy to automatic in VS, I get the following error:
Cannot connect to the remote server. Could not establish connection to remote server. The operation has timed out. I also tried setting the proxy to none, but this didn't work. I've tried looking up ways to disable the proxy in Visual Studio, but there doesn't seem to be anything out there.
Does anyone know how to turn off the proxy settings in VS? What you're looking for is the "Internet Options" tool. You can access it by going to Tools->Internet Options. Once there, click the Connections tab. Then go to Settings and uncheck the "Use a proxy server for your LAN" option.
After doing this, you'll need to restart Visual Studio for the changes to take effect. If you do a build after this, you may need to re-enable the "Use a proxy server for your LAN" option, as the options will have been reset.
What is Visual Studio Code 407 proxy authentication required?
How to configure a Visual Studio Code 407 proxy authentication required? Check the following: In the config.json file of the extension, there should be an entry for "telemetry" with a "enabled" value of "true". It is likely under "telemetry.debugger.connections".
There should be a telemetry-server-url entry in the "extension.json" file. This is typically a URL that allows access to your telemetry server. For example, if you run the "debug-adapter" extension, you would enter the following in the "extension.json" file:
"telemetry-server-url": "". If you do not have a "telemetry-server-url" entry in the "extension.json" file, it will be created for you.
In the "launch.json" file of the extension, there should be an entry for "proxy-connection" with a "uri" value of "proxy".
The "proxy" value should be a relative path that points to the "telemetry-server-url". For example, if your telemetry server is at and you want to proxy the telemetry connection, the "proxy" value would be "proxy/".
