How do I turn off parental controls without parental password?
We have installed Windows Live Movie Maker and used Parental controls to set the options for viewing content based on age. I don't remember the password that were given, and now it is password protected. However, as long as I am an administrator on this computer, the parental settings will stay in place? I thought that when it was password protected, that those controls would disappear.
Just use the Group Policy editor to set the control level to: 1-NotConfigurable by the user. 2-Parental controls are not configurable for this group. Note that even though you may be an administrator, you cannot disable controls. Only a group can do that.
