I recently signed up for Netflix and it seems to have blocked my Surfshark free VPN subscription.

I read that this was caused by me using the free version of the service (so I guess I'm not the only one!) and that I needed to get a paid subscription to the site in order to 'unblock' it. The thing is, I never got a message saying that my account was blocked. I can still watch Netflix and surf the web through the Surfshark VPN, and I can even access YouTube, so I just don't get how the blocking has happened.

How can I unblock Surfshark? Can anyone help me out here? It looks like I'm missing out on something very useful. I have the problem with Surfshark and I don't know why. But it is just that. I am using free surfshark, but I don't know why it can't connect to Netflix anymore. I can surf the web all day, but when I try to watch Netflix on a different server, I don't see anything. I can't even open any links. The same server works all fine.

Hi! Thank you for sharing this! I have tried every combination of what you described and nothing worked for me. In the end, I got Netflix working again on my iPad and Android tablet by going into the Netflix website and doing the check-box you mentioned. Then I changed the setting back to off for my Netflix app on both devices. It worked! Now I'm watching episodes from season 5 of Daredevil on Netflix.

Why is my Surfshark not working?

Hello I have surfshark installed on my computer and it says its not working.

I have a netgear wireless router to connect and surf with and the internet works fine I can go onto youtube and youtube works fine. Just I cant surf on it with my surfshark which says it does not work when im using my web address it doesnt work and when I go to my mac book pro ipad2 it says its not responding what should I do to get it to work?

You'll want to find out why your SurfShark isn't connecting, but there's a good chance it's not even plugged in right now. (Or perhaps your ISP has a fault or something). To find out, you need to look at the logs (log files) - which are usually stored in /var/log.

You're probably looking for error logs. Search for errors in the logs using "surfshark error log" in Google.

It's not easy to read these logs (if there's a huge pile of them), but I'd be interested to know if there were any entries of "unable to connect", and/or "connection timed out", etc. Thanks a bunch mate. P.S: Do you understand which "connection timed out"? In your case, maybe something with the wireless and the device is being timed out by the router.

I tried installing the software and the software said that it cant find the program to connect to, so then I uninstalled it and tried reinstalling it again but still says that it cant find the program to connect to what do I do?
