How can I start working from home with no experience?

Is there any way to start working from home with no experience or training?

I have an MBA, but I haven't worked in a corporate job in years. I don't have a background in computers or science, just business. I love learning new things and want to learn what I need to be able to work remotely, but not sure where to begin. I have a family that depends on me. I am an avid reader of self-improvement books. Would love to know how you started, so that I can set my sights on my own path. Thank you in advance for your help. Mia

I think you need to be honest with yourself: it's unlikely that you're going to get a job where you work from home without some sort of preparation. I would suggest getting a low-level job at an organization you're already familiar with (in person or via a phone screen), and then asking them if you can work from home (on contract) once you've proved you can do the job. They can tell you how to prepare for your first remote gig.
