Can you cancel Yahoo Plus Secure?
I've got an account with Secure, the new name for Yahoo Mail Plus.
I'm having issues with receiving messages after sending them. I've got a message in my inbox showing it's been sent, but I've had to send a couple of emails again (the first one I sent before it showed up, I guess).
I did a search on yahoo and it says it's not possible to cancel a service, which is fine with me. How can I get it cancelled? Do I have to wait until they shut it down? Thanks! I had issues with a few services with Secure, and it seemed like after a while, they just stopped working altogether. So I deleted all my mail, then waited a few months, and then re-installed. I don't think you'd have any trouble with this.
I cancelled it on March 1st (after being a subscriber for 3 years) and was charged for the "lifetime" plan. At the time I thought it was free because there was a message saying I was getting it for free.
On May 10th, 2024, I cancelled Yahoo mail plus. I told them I was done with the yahoo and all their products. I am now facing a monthly charge for the yahoo mail plus plan. I do not wish to pay for this service because I know that it is a scam. It has wasted all my time and my money.
I have been a long-time subscriber to Yahoo! Mail Plus, and recently discovered that in October of 2024 I was moved from a 3-year contract to a 12-month contract. I asked if they could remove my account and transfer it to another e-mail address so I could cancel my service, but was told that I could not do that; they said that they had a new policy where they would not cancel a 3-year contract for anyone. I told them I didn't want a 12-month contract, but they insisted that I take the contract; I didn't want it, and asked if they could put me on the waiting list.
How do I cancel my Yahoo paid subscription?
Yahoo is charging me for a subscription that I don't want!
My name is Dave and I use Yahoo! as the main email address of my home computer. My husband and I have been using Yahoo! for at least 10 years now and have had no problems whatsoever with it. We just recently decided to let our subscription lapse, and as far as I'm concerned there's nothing wrong with that.
Here's the thing. The new monthly bill I received on November 1st included a little note which says: "You've decided not to renew your Yahoo! email account subscriptions. Your membership fees will be returned automatically within the next 14 days. To make sure your messages are delivered when you receive them, your email program should remain active while you are not using the account."
Sounds good, but then something weird happens! The very next day, November 2nd, I open my Inbox, I see a bunch of new emails from Yahoo! The first few emails are all junk mail so I delete them, but then I open one and it says 'Welcome to Yahoo!' in the subject line. And that's when I found out about this little trick.
Here are the steps that you need to do to cancel your Yahoo! email: Step One: Click on Yahoo!'s link on the top right corner of your screen. You should get redirected to Step Two: You'll need to enter your username and password. This isn't actually necessary for me, since the username and password are already stored in my online profile. However, you will need to do this in order for Yahoo! to activate your account.
Step Three: The next page that you will be directed to will ask you to click on the "Payment method" tab. Click on this tab.
Step Four: You will be prompted to click on the "Purchase Method" tab, which looks like this: The first option that you will have here will be "Yahoo! Subscription Account". If you have not changed your subscription method in the past ten years, or if you chose not to change it when you made your subscription, then you will be presented with a form to select a payment method.
How do I check my Yahoo email subscriptions?
I know it's possible because you can do it with Gmail.
I don't know if it's possible. It is easy to access your gmail by connecting it on your mobile phone. But the same with yahoo is more difficult and time consuming.
If you mean how can you verify if someone is trying to hack into your Yahoo mail, you should install and use a virus scanning program like norton or ccleaner. They can give you a clean and clear idea of what kind of virus you have on your computer.
If it's more about verification that someone is sending you phishing emails that looks like they are coming from a Yahoo account, go to the security settings on your web browser. There should be a tab for phishing. If you don't see it, that's probably why. It's not on the toolbar. It's in the "security" settings in your web browser.
Thanks. It does not show up on my browser. To install the norton, do I have to download it from their website or do I just download it from the Internet? Norton is the virus scanner. You can download it from the Internet. For my case, when I wanted to download it from the internet, I only had to go to the web site and click on the "free trial version download". Then, I clicked on "install" at the top.
But if you're going to try it, I suggest to download the trial version and install it. That's the easy way.
OK. I tried that. I didn't get it installed.
How do I unsubscribe from Yahoo Pro?
I have been a user of Yahoo Pro for many years.
I purchased it about six months ago and I have always enjoyed its ease of use and service. Recently, however, I have experienced some technical problems with my account. My password has changed and I am not receiving important e-mails from Yahoo. I am now unable to receive anything from Yahoo. I need to unsubscribe. The following is a screen shot of my Yahoo Pro account settings page. What do I do? You cannot combine these two payment options.
Your option at present is only recurring monthly charges. When you create your membership, we will automatically select this subscription option for you. If you would like to opt-out of automatically recurring charges at a later time, you can do so by clicking the Unsubscribe link at the bottom of your My Account page. If you want to unsubscribe before your paid period ends, you can click Unsubscribe anytime before that date.
I would be very grateful for any information regarding this matter. I have spent hours reading about it on the internet and looking in my control panel and settings of my Yahoo account. There is nothing there which allows me to unsubscribe and I cannot get back into my account until I receive some information. I have waited long enough. I need help urgently!
You should be able to go to the Yahoo My Account page, find the area that says "unsubscribe", then click on it. (It's under the section titled "Subscription Options".)
Hope that helps. Thank you for responding. The problem I have experienced is that my address book is not populated.
Yahoo pro will not let me add my name to my address book even though I am in my address book. My name does show up in my address book under other contacts. I am able to delete my contacts on this page but I cannot add my name to my address book. I have tried contacting customer service but no one answers my emails. I do not know how to fix this problem. Can anyone help me?
