Why can't I access my Yahoo email?

Is there a free app for Yahoo Mail?

- Yahoo mail is giving the option to download on the web but my phone and iPad don't allow me to do it.

Is there a free app for it or something like it? I know I can get away from paid mail by using gmail but this is my only way to keep in touch with my family on Facebook, the web and on the go.

You will need to buy an iPhone, it is not possible to do any more than "get away from paid mail".

I get the same thing, it looks like when I signed in from a year ago, to sign in again I have to put in my email address and I have none of them in my inbox, I dont even remember signing up for mail on the ipad. You need to access your inbox via the gmail interface. When you get there go to your settings and choose from the drop down your option for setting your sign in preferences. Then choose your gmail credentials. That should do the trick.

Ok I did all that but it still doesnt work. When I click on "Yahoo" on the top of my screen, nothing happens. Also, it wont let me sign in under "My profile" either. All I want to do is to check my yahoo account, but its not letting me access it and I have no idea what else to do.

You're not logged in to Yahoo (or to a computer at all?). If you mean that it pops up a password prompt, the reason it works on other sites but not yahoo is because you never registered with yahoo. Also try this site, . If you still can't login, click here .

Re: ? The person whose account you are trying to reply to, likely did not receive your email. Try sending a different email to the same address. If the person is the same, they will be able to see the email. If you are not sure, search their email for the subject line "Yahoo Account" to find out if they received it or not.

If they still do not receive it, or if they do not reply to it, then you may need to contact Yahoo Support to see if it can be found in their system. I've had issues with my email account in the past and had to contact support to get my messages recovered. That was a long time ago, but it could help to take a look through your email to see if you can figure out which one you sent to which address.

Thank you for your reply, it is all clear now. It is my husband's account and he hasn't been on his computer for a while. I tried sending to the yahoo account from his and there was no way to reply to it. I tried going to the site to find it in his account and it was gone. I guess I should have waited a few days and checked it then. Thanks for the help
I got an e-mail today saying I don't have an account with them anymore. But it was sent to the yahoo account in my name. My husband's account is not the same as mine so I don't understand how I could have an account with them. Could someone help me with this?

What you are describing is called a 'lost password' scenario. You can login to your account with the email and password combination you used originally, if you remember them.

If that doesn't work, then you have to go to the website and request a 'Forgot Password' type of function.
