How do I unblock Google Admin extensions?

How do I unblock Google Admin extensions?

Google Admin Extensions make some services on your Google account possible like the new Gmail API, Google Hangouts, Drive API, and Google Site Builder.

Blocking them is against the Google Terms of Service.

Unblocking extensions requires a bit of technical savvy. If you ever encounter issues unblocking them in Chrome, Safari, or Firefox, you can use our handy tool to help you. Here's how to unblock Google admin extensions in Chrome and Firefox:

Open Settings. On Chrome, click on the wrench in the top right corner of your screen. On Firefox, click on the cogwheel icon in the upper right hand corner.

Scroll down to Search providers and add the extension name to your blacklist. In the "Search providers" section on Chrome, select one of the listed providers to prevent them from serving up search results when you type things in the omnibox. Alternatively, you can select multiple providers and block the website behind them.

In the Firefox "Search providers" section, you'll see that any extensions with the same name as the extension you added earlier are blocking results for "Chrome" and/or "Firefox". You can toggle all of them off.

You should also be able to block individual extensions here. Note: It may take a while for Google's servers to respond, so if you see no results, you can try a few times.

How to get extensions that are blocked by admin on Chromebook?

I've been trying to search for and install a few extensions on my home Chromebook in order to fix some odd problems.

Recently, I found this interesting looking extension: All that Google Assistant can do is tell me which channels to switch over to get my VPN connection working again. There's really no point in having it installed because I have the ability to connect to different networks by switching network cards. But it didn't have my VPN IP address stored, and wasn't aware that I had an account with them. And that meant that when I logged into my router, I was still seeing the normal VPN connections and had not entered my VPN account credentials at that point.

Luckily, I found a way to unblock myself via an extension that I found here: I was able to use it to easily access the Chrome Web Store again to view the VPN extension and install it. But then it wouldn't work. I would try to load the VPN site on my browser, but it would fail every time and show this error:
I tried using the extension to re-enable it, but it failed. My VPN was not able to connect with my VPN at all.

In the extensions, settings, advanced tabs, the extension name looked like. I couldn't install it or disable it. It would allow me to disable, then try re-enabling, but then it would fail the same way.

When I opened the extension manager, and then the content of those extensions, they all showed the same results. How did the block admin get placed in this scenario? How could I find out who put this block up?

How do I remove Chrome extensions blocked by administrator?

I have a computer that I use to work on Chrome.

Most of the time I don't need to run any other applications than my browser, so I only install extensions from the web store. Today, I get this popup when trying to open a new tab:

I've tried to disable all of my extensions (even the one that is recommended by Google) and the problem still persists. Any idea how to remove them? I'm running Google Chrome 15.0.874.0 (64-bit) on Windows 7.

Chrome doesn't really like that you installed too many extensions, and it has a list of what's acceptable and what's not. You should probably get that list and then disable a bunch of those.
