How do I access data from web Excel 365 Mac?

I'm creating a web application for a client. This client has an Excel 365 for Mac desktop version. I would like to be able to access the data in this version. Is there a way to do this?

Yes it works. You need to have Power BI Desktop for Mac installed. And this version of Power BI Desktop only supports Excel 2023 or Excel 2023.

Why I don't have Power Query on Excel for Mac?

I was using Power Query before and have been trying to figure out what is it doing for me in my existing Power Query script, but not able to. Can you explain the use of Excel for Mac here please.

Power Query used to be able to talk to Excel on Mac, however, there was a large amount of limitations (such as not being able to query for records greater than 1 million rows) in addition to other missing features. I can't remember what versions this was present in, but the older versions might be on the download page () but it is not supported. There are no current versions of Power Query supporting Excel for Mac.
