Is Opera VPN safe to use?
VPN stands for virtual private network. It is basically a virtual tunnel that connects you to the internet through a secure proxy, and your computer is connected to the internet through this secure tunnel. All the traffic from your computer goes through this tunnel, which means that your IP address is hidden, and the traffic is encrypted. This makes it very difficult for someone to spy on your internet activity, which is why VPNs are highly recommended. They also make sure that no one is spying on you, and there is no need for you to install anything on your computer.
However, since VPNs are so useful, they come with many privacy concerns, especially when you use it on a public Wi-Fi.e. They can be dangerous if you don't know how to use them, and there are many things you need to know about VPNs before you start using them.

The user's computer is connected to the internet through a secure tunnel, and your computer is connected to the internet through this secure tunnel. So, it is important that you choose a good VPN service provider, as it will protect your internet traffic from any third parties.
What are the security risks? While VPNs have many benefits, they also come with some security risks. One of the biggest problems with VPNs is that they can be used to access sites or applications that are not meant for the public. For example, a VPN can be used to access a private website that you want to keep secret.
Also, there is the possibility of a person sniffing your internet traffic and stealing your sensitive information, and even if they are not that bad, they can easily be hacked. In this case, you should make sure that the VPN you are using is secure, and that the VPN provider you are using has a good reputation.
What are the benefits? The biggest benefit of using a VPN is that you can access all the sites and services that you need to, without worrying about getting caught.

Does Opera VPN hide browsing history?
We've all seen it before. We've all looked at the list of websites our browser visits while using the Internet. And we've all been scared, especially if we're a student who needs to watch a lecture online.
This could be a big problem. First, let's see what Opera has to say about this: When you use Opera VPN, you can make your browsing activities anonymous and safe. When you access a website, it will be as if you are connected to the website via a secure tunnel, and the website will not be able to access any information about your browsing activities.
But this is pretty vague. So I contacted Opera and asked them to give me a more detailed answer. I got this response:
Opera VPN does not hide your browsing history. The websites that you visit will still be able to access your browsing history, but the websites won't be able to access any information about you, including your IP address. This means that they can't see which sites you visited.
So it sounds like Opera VPN does indeed hide your browsing history. But it seems to me that there's still some wiggle room in the wording. The websites that you visit still can see your browsing history.
I don't know if that's good enough for you. In case you're curious, here's what Opera says about this topic on their site: When you use Opera VPN, your browsing activities will appear as if they were carried out from a completely different location. The websites that you visit will not be able to access your browsing history or your IP address. This means that they cannot see which sites you visited.
Your browsing history will be hidden from the websites that you visit. I guess Opera doesn't want to be too specific about hiding your browsing history. Still, I hope you agree that Opera VPN is good enough for you.
Will a VPN hide my IP address?
If I use a VPN to access websites in public, will it hide my IP address from the websites? Does it also conceal my current location and/or browsing history? I ask because I'm paranoid about governments or big tech companies looking into all my personal details and I want to know if a VPN can help. An IP address alone is not indicative of your identity, only a physical connection that you make. If it's possible to trace your identity without knowing your IP address, there is no need for a VPN.
