How do I Export data from a Web form to Excel?

How do I Export data from a Web form to Excel?

Hi I have a web form that contains a list of people and their birthdays, the list is sorted by birthday. On the click of a button I want to export the data to a CSV file.

I've tried a couple of different ways but can't get it to work. I am using Excel 2023.

First method: I create a temporary Excel file, name it 'export' then load the webform in Excel. The web form has a button "Save as Excel" and it saves the web form data as an Excel spreadsheet (which I then delete). Then I close Excel and open the 'export' file. I click on the button that saves the file and it opens the CSV file, but it is blank!

Second method: I create a new Excel spreadsheet, name it 'export' then load the web form in Excel. The web form has a button "Save as Excel" and it saves the web form data as an Excel spreadsheet (which I then delete). I click on the button that saves the file and it opens the CSV file, but the data doesn't seem to be coming through.

I'm pretty sure I'm missing something obvious, but any help would be great.

How do I extract a table from a website?

I'm having a tough time with this. The website is ics.gw.com and I am trying to get the table at the bottom of the page using C#. Any help on where to look? I do not have a computer science background, so I am stuck.

It looks like some kind of Javascript is involved, so you need to parse the HTML and extract the data into a usable form. The code on the page looks somewhat complex (too much code for just a table), but I think there are two areas that would give you all the data you're looking for.

The two relevant parts are the tables (see the code in the first row here, in my HTML, this code is also part of the

tag (see the code in the last row):
. . .
0
.gridrow1 .and the code in the first table row which has the rows from 1 - 15 (first 15 rows in total, this seems to be related to the grid, the actual data probably not visible to JS): . .

How do I copy a table from HTML to Excel?

My goal is to generate a table of data out of html with some conditions for each column. How can I have a excel file where each row is the original html rows with all the conditions for that specific row in every column? The method described by @user3018415 does work. But one issue I was experiencing was that the content of some fields was empty instead of "". This issue is that the data in these columns were not coming from HTML at all, but from some other system in which there is no html tag for a field.

RowCount = 0. OutputName = r"pathfile.xlsx" excelApp = xlwt.Workbook(encoding="utf-8") ws = excelApp.addsheet(r"Sheet%d" % rowCount) # This is the main for loop through the html. For n in colNums: r = BeautifulSoup(response. # These will become column headers.append('Heading%d'% (i)) elif h=='': rows.append(c) else: if h=='id': columns=h.
