Is IPVanish any good?

Does it work for Netflix? Does it work in Canada?
I'm curious to know if IPVanish is any good. Is it a VPN that works with Netflix, and that's the only thing that matters? Is it a decent VPN that works with Netflix? What about torrenting? Can you torrent through IPVanish? -J

Update: I was surprised to see how many negative reviews this VPN has on Google. Do these people even use this VPN? Update 2: Here's a nice piece of information that I didn't know before. Update 3: I finally got around to signing up for an IPVanish account. I will report back on my experience in a couple of weeks.

UPDATE 5/3/2015: IPVanish seems to be very effective at getting around the Netflix geoblocking that Netflix users in the United States are experiencing. I'm using it on my laptop, and I don't have to use any proxy apps. I can watch Netflix from all over the world, including the US, Canada, UK, Australia, and several other countries. I'm assuming that this works on other streaming services as well.

The only problem I've had so far is that IPVanish is still in Beta, and so it's a bit buggy. I've had issues with logging in, connecting to servers, and watching shows. They've acknowledged this, and they're working on it.

After 7 days (30 days with Auto-Renewal), you will be billed the remaining amount due and be automatically transitioned to a different IP address. You will also be disconnected from our services. Should you decide to leave us. If you are using Auto-Renewal: When will I be charged for my plan? You are automatically billed when your initial trial has ended (ie, 2 months after activation). Your last day to cancel your Auto-Renewal subscription is 5 days after the first payment was taken.

Why do I have a recurring bill? To protect our customers and ensure their uninterrupted access to our paid services during their trial period, we create a separate billing cycle. In order to keep prices low and to keep your plan active until expiration, you will receive your first invoice on the start date of your free trial period. The price will then auto-renew unless you cancel your subscription within the 7 days prior to renewal and you will not be billed at the full cost of the plan. All payments will be taken during the month before expiration, but your first invoice will be taken the first day of that month. The first payment takes the last 5 days of your free trial period and all subsequent payments take the following 5 days.

When can I choose another plan? A 24 hour countdown timer is available in your Account settings. Until you make your decision. The countdown will stop on the day of your choice.
