Does PewDiePie use NordVPN?

We've been tracking PewDiePie's recent videos for a while now, and we recently noticed that every time he uploads a video, it's from a different VPN.

While this does raise a red flag, we didn't immediately investigate PewDiePie's usage of NordVPN as many may think. In this guide, we explore the possibility that all of the VPN IP addresses used in these videos are actually those of NordVPN's servers. Afterall, they do share an address block as shown below, right? (NordVPN IP addresses): But does it matter? Even if we know his VPN is NordVPN, is that really an issue? According to a 2025 study by BitPrivacy.org, 90% of users think that using a VPN without a good reason is unethical and can lead to a loss of privacy.

Is his VPN service in anyway breaking the law? If were to get into the specific claims made by the NordVPN website, then yes. On the NordVPN website page, it claims that all of their servers are fully licensed in Germany, which, according to TorrentFreak's post, is entirely false. As shown below, all 3 servers are banned by court rulings in Germany. To avoid getting in trouble, the company uses a technique called geofencing to mask the fact that it is violating Germany laws by placing servers in other countries. The website page also claims that the service is 100% legal and that it doesn't log user data. However, this isn't exactly true either. Although they haven't been caught yet (yet), the company has been fined several times for logging their user data for various violations. One of the reasons given for these fines are the following: NordVPN's business model is not clear at all. It makes vague claims that are hard to verify and provides no proof at all for the things it says. We asked for it more than once, but could not get answer at all.
