Here's a list of the points I've come to after I used the software for a month: I can't turn any more proxies on. I have to log in via email every time I use a new computer, and every browser on it. I'm pretty sure they monitor that activity, so if you have more than five different devices you're being logged in on, the servers will shut you down. When logging in from a mobile device, you have to enter an email address and a verification code. The free version doesn't have a "forgot my password" feature, so I'd have to contact the company via the "report abuse" tab.

Some of the settings are hard to find, which is also a red flag. For example, even though "Open a new connection" is a grayed-out item in the proxy settings in the VPN connection, it is actually enabled. So when you use your proxy list a third-party, it closes your original connection! I only found it because I changed the "Proxy server timeout" setting to "0".

The free version doesn't come with built-in anti-malware protection (ie it's like using an email address that's not in your phone book). And if someone who wants to watch your activity steals your email account, they'll probably find other methods to access it.
