Is there a way to block an app from App Store?

How do I block a specific app from being downloaded?

What I'd like to do is allow users access to my apps, but prevent them from accessing a specific app. The users can install whatever I want them to install. I'm in an enterprise environment so I want to make it as easy as possible for the users to get my apps.

I would like to completely block or at least make very difficult for someone to install or use a "bad" app. I assume that BadApp is lying on root (or user) directory. You can try to check all files and folders in this directory for permission "world"?

Is there a way to block an app from App Store?

As of January 2023, we don't see a way to do this out of the box. With just a regular app, you could use the "Write as new" feature to get around it. The only trouble is that as of now (January 2019), this only lets you get rid of apps that are already installed and have been force removed for inactivity reason. Since SiriKit apps have NO activities at all, they don't get in the way of this reason either, so this is extremely limited.

With the introduction of SAFE App Proxy in iOS 13, a new service called Safe App Proxy Service has been introduced. When an app that is using this proxy service is opened by the user, the application directly communicates with the safe application proxy instead of through the original app store installed one. This way, one can easily block some apps for inactivity reasons.

Unfortunately, this service is only for iOS 13 devices at the moment, and there is no way to use this on devices that are running iOS 12 or lower.

Can you block apps on the App Store iPhone?

This is a discussion on ? within the Apple Competitors forums, part of the Comparisons category; I'm interested in jailbreaking my iPhone 01. It doesn't officially support blocking applications. As.

On iPhone OS 3.0 - does blocking apps require jailbreak? I would be interested on readings on how to do this Also is it possible to block apps as well as list the guys friend that make the apps ex: Macworld and just note on my phone "they say this sucks" poetry only cause that's what the app store spanks me for? I mean does apple here any type of filters or can I make some type of software firewall that shows up little notes next to each app/ip so that is the reason why where it says "the guy who made this suck" The iPhone OS doesn't really support filtering apps because they want to be able to sell things securely. You already know the thread topic answer is no! You can't. Period. There is no way to control web access -- beyond installing a browser. There are several articles on this from forums, but they don't definitively answer. It's common sense that you can't.

Apple's goal is to provide a device, not a data mine for personal information. Putting one over on users by providing a data mine under the guise of security simply frustrates the customer and limits the potential market for their products. This makes the iTunes system harmful to the economic viability of the iPhone.

If they did internet filters this is just another reason to not purchase their stuff ever again. Unfortunately this option is going away.

They don't start with an idea, they will follow the money. What will be next that will give Apple's Entertainment department a way to monopolize it's content with ads next are better anti-contriveing devices to limit Kids from using it as a safety device? It seems licensing would behin this as well.

I have read nearly all of the passioned threads about internet and if the Beatles invented it. Apple still is far enough ahead of the game and admitingly illegal to change it's current constituion and protocol. They will continue to move forwards and take two steps back. When the next territories open I don't intend to be createing new IP.
