How do I add a JavaScript extension to Chrome?
I am working on an experimental project that uses JavaScript extensions in Chrome.
I have been trying to find out how to add the extension to the Chrome browser, but I have had no luck. How can I add a JavaScript extension?
A very simple way to add extensions to Chrome is to simply add a manifest file to your local web project. It doesn't need to be done through the Chrome Addon SDK.
In Windows: Right-click the folder that contains the extension you want to add and select "New. Add the contents of the manifest.json file below.
Save the file. In Linux or Mac OS X: Create the file with a .json extension in your extension directory
