What browsers and VPNs does SmartDNS work with? SmartDNS works with a number of different desktop, mobile, and cloud-based platforms. All clients we have tested so far are able to work with SmartDNS. How do I change my location on SmartDNS Surfshark?

Click on your SmartDNS Surfshark account and click the gear icon. Then select Preferences.

Then click on the drop-down menu under the location box and choose your city, state, or country. Note: The current version of the app does not automatically update your location. You will need to go through the location settings process each time you change your location.

How do I additional locations? You can additional locations using an external web browser. Go to and use the navigation menu on the top to go to your Account Settings. The Location section is on the left-hand side. To add a new location, click on the Edit link next to the location name. Then click on the Save Changes button.

How do I add countries? When you create a SmartDNS account, there are three options for selecting a location. The first option allows you to pick your country. If you already have a SmartDNS Surfshark account that does not allow for this option, you can buy an additional account at

You can change your country by accessing your Account Settings and clicking on the gear icon to the right of the country name. Then click on the Edit link. You can then choose a new country from the drop-down menu.

How do I change my password? To change your password, go to your Account Settings. Click on the gear icon. Then click on the Edit link under your Username and click on the Change Password button.

How do I delete my account? To delete your account, click on your profile name. Click the trashcan icon to delete your account.

How do I get support? To get support, click on the Help icon in the top menu bar of the Surfshark application. How do I edit my profile? Once you login to your account, you can access the Edit Profile feature. To do so, click on your profile name. Then click on the Edit Profile button to make changes to your profile.
