Is proxy VPN good?

What is the strongest proxy server?

A proxy server is a computer that relays communications between a user's computer and another server, such as the Internet, so that it appears to the user as though the user was communicating directly with that server.

A proxy server allows people who are behind an insecure router, or those who have been blocked by their ISP, to still use the Internet. There are several reasons why you might want to use a proxy server: Connecting via a corporate proxy server (or similar network security solution) protects against man-in-the-middle attacks. Proxy servers can be used to bypass content-filtering software, or to change your geographic location without having to change your IP address. Using a proxy server can help protect your privacy and secure your Internet traffic. While there are many proxy servers available for free download, you will probably need to pay to get access to some advanced features, such as configuring your proxy to use a different port number for each application you're using. Before we begin, you will need to install a proxy server on your computer. We recommend Squid. It's a simple program that will set up in just a few minutes, and will be accessible from your browser's 'networks' tab.

Squid uses a lot less RAM than other proxy servers, meaning it is more likely to run faster on your machine. Squid works with any operating system, and comes with pre-installed on many. For more info see Squid 2.5 Manual.

Most proxy servers only support HTTP and HTTPS, but Squid supports other protocols, including FTP, POP3, and SMTP. You can choose which ones you want to support by adding them in the list under the 'Server' button in the list box.

Now, we'll be using the Internet Explorer proxy preferences panel to setup our proxy. We are going to set up our Internet Explorer for proxy settings. First we have to make sure that the 'use proxy settings for all users' is checked. When that's done we click on the Internet Explorer icon on the right-hand side of the tab. The proxy server will be a little different for each browser; so select 'Default settings', and click on 'Proxies' to begin configuring it.

Scroll down to the TCP/IP Tab, where you will see three Proxy Server entries: Local Host: 127.0.

This will include: Which VPN has more servers?

Does the server provide more bandwidth? (Speed). What is considered as a cheap? Will I be able to use the application (Downloading & Streaming). What is the best free and free VPN services for android available? I hope you can help me answer to these questions and more in one place or at least with your experience. Best regards! Re: Proxy VPN good? I have used all the top 5 VPN in the app market. I personally used TunnelBear last month. You can also use VyprVPN and CyberGhost and others depending on the country you are based in.

I suggest all of them. You must read some posts up, before buying (the forums/support) about each company. Some VPN services may not make much sense with their marketing. But the company does, in terms of features, speed, customer support etc.

Hi @sarayash. Good to see you again. As said above, I have the problem to use the VyprVPN for streaming in android (YouTube, Netflix) and downloading stuff from itunes and so.

Could you please give some suggestions what I have to do

The connection is very slow or sometimes I can't reach to the page on vyprvpn.com (no more download data) The speed (download) is very high. I checked the speed while downloading things in a website and it was like 1Mb/s (very fast) but with VyprVPN I get only around 25-30kb/s (for small files) I tried different servers, but the results are the same. Is there any server/provider which provides speed or am I on the wrong way doing that

Any suggestion? S.

Hi S., first of all, you should know where is your IP address (as we know, IP address changes all the time). So, when you use the web application you used for streaming in particular, what happens? Can you connect to the website using the website URL instead the VPN URL provided by VyprVPN?

Which proxy is best for open VPN?

I can suggest a simple solution, which is to use the ProxyCommand option of the ssh configuration file, and specify a local proxy with the IP address of the OpenVPN server.

For example, suppose your IP address is 10.1, and you have an OpenVPN server running on port 443, then your ProxyCommand line in /etc/sshdconfig would look like this: ProxyCommand /path/to/proxy --add-host 10.1:443 This will setup the proxy when you use the ssh client to connect to 10. In the same way, if you are already running an OpenVPN server on port 443, you can set up the proxy for that server instead.
