Is solo VPN available in iOS?

If you want to connect from outside your corporate network to your desktop using VPN technology, you can download the company's Solo app (for free). This lets you connect remotely to VPN servers and access corporate network resources, without connecting your device to the corporate network. The Solo app can use Apple's VPN support to provide a secure connection. The advantage is that you can access your home or any other networked resources, such as a public hotspot, when you're outside your corporate network.

You can also set up the Solo app to auto-connect, so that it connects to your home network automatically when you start it. This way, you can use your VPN while connected to your Wi-Fi hotspot, without having to first connect your device to the corporate network.

How do I install and use Solo? Connect to the VPN server or access hotspots with an iPhone. To use a VPN connection, tap the Settings icon in the upper-right corner of your iPhone, and tap Wi-Fi.e. Your iPhone might be configured to automatically connect to cellular data networks. For example, your iPhone might connect to your cellular network when you're on a plane. If this happens, you'll need to disable automatic connections. Follow the steps in Disable automatic cellular data connections.

Tap Advanced. Tap Connection to Wi-Fi networks. If you have an iPhone 6 or later, you might see a message that says, You can use Face ID to connect to Wi-Fi networks. Tap OK to allow this from your face, or tap Don't Allow to connect. If you choose to connect, you can use Face ID to confirm your identity for security purposes.

Tap the Wi-Fi network that you want to connect to, tap Always allow, and then tap OK. If you have an iPhone 6s or later, or an iPad Pro, you might see a message that says, Your iPad can use Face ID to connect to Wi-Fi networks. Tap the button next to Allow to use Face ID to connect. If you tap the button, Face ID will allow your iPad to automatically connect to the selected Wi-Fi network.

Tap Create a new key, enter a name, and then tap Create.
