It's because they are providing a good service at a very cheap price. So, when people go to Spotify, what do they get?

It's not only your favourite tunes but also the best selection in the world! And you don't just get everything for free, you have to pay if you want to have the best selection. Not only do you get access to music from all over the world, you also have a great library in your home. You can find pretty much anything and hear it instantly when you press play. That's amazing and that's something not many people can say.

Also, Spotify has really interesting data on the people who use the service. Not only does Spotify work well for those who don't have much time to listen, it also suits people with too much time on their hands. In the US, it's said that over 17% of the population listen to more than 2 hours a day! A surprising discovery!

What is a proxy? What is a proxy server and why do I need one? Why is Spotify so different from other audio streaming services? This is an incomplete set of answers. Some will be more helpful than others.

Proxy: A type of web server. Basically a proxy (or cache) is an intermediate web server that acts as a gateway to another site. You may have seen this page before. The URL you see in the address bar changes when you change your proxy settings.

A proxy server is set up to solve this problem by acting as a proxy between your mobile device and the internet. As a result, your internet connection speeds and stability will increase.

The only way for it to work on a mobile device is for it to be downloaded to your device.
