The TCP packets are encrypted with data-level encryption and the UDP packets are encrypted with network-level encryption. Both encryptions are done over an already existing VPN connection established between the server and your client. These packets are sent through the tunnel connection.

What actually happens when you are using both OpenVPN and your WiFi networks is as follows: OpenVPN server listens for incoming connections from clients. The server decides whether to route the connection through your home network or your company VPN, which is connected to your work network. If the server decides to use your home network, it generates a second layer of encryption by encrypting your traffic and sends the data through the connection over to the client. When your machine successfully receives the encrypted data, it decrypts it into plain text.

Is Double VPN traceable?

Traceability is more of a 'grey' issue with Double VPN than a 'black' issue.
