Does Unlocator work with Netflix?

Is this working as expected? Is it just a Netflix subscription required (not sure what kind of plans they have). Also, I'm wondering about the 'crawling' factor. In other words, you have to wait till your area gets the next set of unlocator servers? Or is that not so?

Re: Unlocator works with Netflix? I am in Australia and used it for Netflix. I was able to find the TV series, The InBetweeners and the movies, The Twilight Saga: Eclipse.

However, I did not have luck with The Hobbit. I tried twice with my IP address as listed, both times got a black screen. I changed my computer to another one, tried again, got the black screen.

When searching on the internet for this problem, all I can find is people having problems with The Hobbit, so that makes me wonder if it is a problem with that particular movie. Also, I can only watch this on a Roku device (not the PS3 or PC) and there are a couple of issues. 1) They cannot access the video on the Roku device to give me subtitles, which is a real pain. Also, it doesn't seem to load up the full movie at first, so there are a few seconds where the video just blanks out. It is a real annoyance that there is no way to fix this issue without actually buying a TV tuner that can get a live feed of it.

2) On the Roku device, if you pause the video to go to the menu or to any other part of the program, the playback pauses. This is really annoying, especially when you are trying to see who is currently speaking.

I had a few issues with the service, but overall it worked well. It does take quite a while to work. After the movie starts playing, you will be able to select an unlisted channel, or find it using a list of channels. Then the app will find your region server and start working. If you keep the volume at a low level, you will be able to see the video. If you turn the volume up, you can see all of the channels being displayed, but there is nothing to watch. It is quite easy to tell the difference between the channels and the movie.

My advice is to try it out before you buy. Make sure that it will work for you.

Is Unlocator free?

There is never any charge when you purchase Locator GPS products directly from our website. If you purchase a Locator GPS unit, for example, and it has a built in satellite antenna then you would need to purchase a Satellite Dish subscription to get your Locator to work correctly.

For our Locator GPS to work properly, we require a satellite in the location that you wish to use your Locator GPS in. Your Locator GPS will be limited to operating within approximately 10km of a satellite signal. Most people do not own a high powered satellite dish or have easy access to one. Unlocator Satellite solutions, on the other hand, can operate from anywhere in the world within a relatively close proximity of a large number of satellites to receive GPS signals and therefore can provide much more accurate and precise location information.

How does Locator GPS work? With Unlocator you are able to use an inexpensive handheld device that can also include a locator function where you simply type a street address into the device and it will search through a list of addresses and identify the nearest match to your address. There are two main differences between Locator GPS systems and Locator Satellite. Firstly, unglocator is much smaller and lightweight. Secondly, Locator GPS units will often produce an error message if there is a problem or no data is available with respect to a specific address. Unlocator, however, can provide 100% reliable location and tracking data.

How do I set up my Locator? You will need to be able to navigate by car, bus, train or plane. In many cases, you could use the address information found on your business card, bank card, loyalty card, driving licence or other ID. It could also be a GPS reading produced by a mobile phone, smart phone or tablet. For further assistance, visit www.unlocator.com.au for full instructions.

Why should I use an Unlocator? Unlocator uses a unique combination of cutting edge technology to identify the location and tracking of any object. You can use your GPS receiver as a mobile phone but Unlocator is much more accurate. Unlike most GPS devices, your handheld radio frequency scanner is constantly monitoring over 200 satellites and other objects emitting a GPS signal so your handheld radio frequency scanner is always up-to-date.

What if I lose or damage my Locator?

Is Unlocator com trustworthy?

I was a little skeptical when I came across Unlocator. A lot of people like the idea of being able to track your children online, but as a parent myself I can say that I don't really trust the idea of a site that offers this service. I recently read a review of Unlocator and some other sites that offer this kind of service on my favorite parenting website, The Baby Center.

One reviewer said, "I was so glad when I read in this review that it's not a real company. I am now less likely to give them my personal information.

This is not the only review they have received. In fact, their review section has more than 100 complaints from parents who received deceptive and harmful products in the mail. One woman claims she was scammed out of her entire life savings by a similar company called BabyLocator.

The review said, "I received a package containing a bracelet with a unique code in it. I think the company is using the bracelet to give you an idea of where your child is. I gave the code to my husband. He could not find my son anywhere on the Internet. He searched every website he could think of, including looking under 'Baby'. Nothing. So I began to suspect this was a scam."

A second woman had the same experience. She claims she was scammed out of her life savings by the same company. She also had to take her child to a hospital for an emergency surgery.

The site says they do not collect your personal information. They do state that they send a text message to your phone if the bracelet is activated. But who would give out their phone number or even their name? Even if they do track your kids online, how do they know where the person's are?

Another review was from a woman who had a horrible experience with a company called Fathom. The review said, "It sounds so simple and easy, but I wish I had seen the warning signs. I put in my credit card information and gave the password to the representative who would be checking my account. Then I didn't hear from her for months. When I finally did, she told me the company was doing a free trial and that I had to upgrade before I could use the service. I tried to cancel the service and after three weeks of trying to cancel, I was still charged for the service.
