Is there anyway to avoid getting the IP address when using a tunnelbear? I'm connecting to my router through a modem so my ISP has no control over my settings on the router. If it's not, you get a warning dialog that the MAC address is wrong, but the IP address remains unaffected. I don't understand why this makes it any different or better than just plugging a cable into the router. It will still need to know your MAC address.

It's different because then when you disconnect you retain the MAC address, which could then be used for any subsequent connections. That's pretty cool, IMO.
