What is the phone number for NCR Aloha?
(Example: 010-555-1234)
I have a client who wants to add the NCR Aloha phone number (Example: 010-555-1234) to an Android app that will be integrated into an application that we are building. We are trying to build this as an open source project, but we are having a hard time doing so. The last time I worked on the app that we had an open source project, I found that calling the local number, 010-555-1234, would dialing the number to get an outbound call from the person calling the app. It seemed that the caller ID was being "read" by the app, and the NCR Aloha phone number was getting called. That was unacceptable for us as it was against our ToS. So, for the last few years, I have tried to build my own mobile apps, and have built many phone apps that use the dial function. We are not the easiest to work with, but we have a great product that we need your help building.
Hi, This is an open source app and you can access the source code on github. The app that we are building has a phone number dial function. When we test it, it seems to try to read the CallerID from a remote number when calling NCR Aloha numbers. In our customer agreement for this app, we are very clear that the app does not do this.
When we first tested this app, it seemed like the app was calling NCR Aloha from out of state numbers, but in our internal investigations, we have determined that was wrong. Also, we have a lot of good documentation on the app and it seems that there should be no problem on how we use it. It seems that the app is reading the callerID and then setting the default Caller ID to it. This is against our ToS and we can't find any documentation that shows how to modify the behavior of the phone app to not do this.
If someone is able to help us build an app that does not do this, please help us! Thanks for your help! Thanks for the response, the Github page shows it is open source. I tried the instructions, and was not able to find the source code for the app. As far as the phone number dial function, you said it was wrong.
What is the phone number for NCR counterpoint support?
Does anyone know what the phone number is for NCR counterpoint support?
I'm having a problem with the counterpoint program on my new laptop and need to report it. I can't find the correct number on the NCR website or via Google. Thanks.
Re: ? Hi, I am a salesperson who worked for NCR. I will look into it for you.I was told that the number to call was 1-800-223-5556. However, you are not going to be able to talk to someone there directly. You need to call the corporate number of 1-888-223-5556 to speak with someone. This is because the sales people on the front lines are being cut so they no longer have a job. If you ask to speak to an account executive you will be put on hold forever and given that number again, which is of course the customer service line. You should be able to talk to someone that way. It takes a minute or two. Be sure to ask for a supervisor or manager. It will not take long.Best of luck.
No, you do not want to contact the sales staff. I've already contacted them directly. They said that I will be placed on hold forever. They said they need the number where the problem happened. I have no problem with that, it's not like I'm on a cell phone and am trying to call another cell phone. I don't think that I'm going to get very far with just an e-mail. This would probably take about two weeks. So, do you know if it's possible to file a complaint online? I'm not familiar with how that works.
I went to the link you posted. However, I am unable to locate your problem. What does the NCR counterpoint software do? I am assuming that it runs in the background while you use other programs, right? My laptop's hard drive crashed, so I can't run the counterpoint software.
I think I found it. My screen is black because I can't see what's on it.
