What TV show helps toddlers sleep?

The other day, I had a little girl come into my room, and as I looked over to the other side of the bed, her brother was watching Spongebob.

Why? Well, my daughter has decided that the show on the TV is a magical show that helps her get to sleep. It's really cute and really funny too, but every time I try to change the channel, she yells NO, NO! and then I have to spend a few minutes convincing her that it is OK to turn off the show.

So, what are some TV shows out there that toddlers and kids can watch that will help them sleep better? 1) The Great British Bake Off. This is my absolute favorite for a number of reasons. First, it's a great show that teaches people to be great bakers. And as I watch this show with my daughter, we talk about baking and ingredients and how important it is to be a good baker. We talk about all sorts of things - like the importance of a good crust, perfect temperature, the importance of using the right utensils, etc. But most importantly, she learns about patience and having fun while you bake a pie.

If you have a toddler, or a kid who needs to be calmed down while they watch, I recommend this show! 2) TotsTV. Another wonderful TV show I recommend for kids is TotsTV. I used to work at Tots TV, and I can assure you that this is one of the best shows you will ever see. The stories are amazing, and if you have a kid who can handle a scary story well, then they'll love it. Plus, this show is fun because it talks about so many topics, from the food you eat to safety in the car to animals to music to colors to the sky to so much more. So, if your kids just need to learn something new, or need to have their mind stimulated, then check out TotsTV.

3) The Great American Baking Show. I love this show too, and I recommend it for those who need a fun baking show. It has great episodes, a great mix of people who are fantastic bakers and bakers who have bad attitudes.

Kids shows that are ok. Tru to Life with Kim Rossmo: A show about a stay-at-home mother living with her toddler son. Tumblebabies a half-hour show featuring five little children, ages 3 months to 3 years, with different personalities and skills. In each show, kids work together to complete an activity such as building a tower of blocks, making a puzzle together, stacking cups, or using blocks to create a kitchen. Each child is responsible for a segment of the show and works cooperatively on projects. There is lots of physical activity, but kids work through the program without television commercials.

Little People TV: a great educational tool that introduces the little people as friends and helps them feel comfortable in a real life situation. They work together and practice social development, fine and gross motor skills, and problem solving. Most are 6-12 years old.

Little Animal Adventures: animals, dinosaurs, myths, legends, and magic are presented in this show where children can learn. From preschool to preadolescents, the characters have interests in history and geography and participate in problem-solving with each other. Little friends and family members make a difference in the community and the world. Many episodes present multicultural issues. The majority of the characters live in a magical way, which appeals to both boys and girls.

My Music Mix: Kids (4-9 yrs) listen and sing along as they watch performers from around the globe. In each episode, the host leads small groups of young children to perform a favorite song and encourages them to create original songs as a group. In addition, each participant is shown how to make a costume with the help of a local craft expert.

Nick Jr. Nick Show Time: a great way for kids to enjoy the shows without feeling rushed. The hosts introduce each topic, then they discuss it in detail. During commercials, kids can look at the pictures and listen to a short interview about the featured subject. If kids are very hungry, they can eat while watching and will still be able to learn some great valuable information about what they watched.

What is the show that helps toddlers learn?

I'm talking about Totspur, the award-winning show that teaches toddlers about the world around them.

It's a show I've watched with my kids for years, and one that I highly recommend to parents of toddlers, and especially to those with toddlers with Autism.

How to use Totspur to teach your toddler. It can be tricky to know how to teach your child through Totspur. The show is filled with a lot of information that you'll have to learn as you go. But the good news is that the show has been developed over the years with feedback from parents, teachers and experts. So you can trust it to work in your family.

You'll see that the Totspur videos are short, sweet and full of the kind of information that your toddler is capable of learning. They use familiar, fun characters, and are based on a simple premise: what would happen if I was that character? How would I behave? What would I do? You'll also find that each episode teaches a different skill: Talking about and to others. Looking after things. Going places. Being safe. Making friends. Being brave. There are plenty of other skills too, but these are the ones that parents tell me they find most useful. And I believe that every skill you can teach your toddler will help him develop.

How to make Totspur work for your toddler. I've put together a list of what you might want to think about when watching Totspur. It's not comprehensive - there are lots of skills to cover! But it's a start.

Talk about the show. One of the first things you need to do is talk about the show. Explain to your toddler what it's about. Talk about the characters and the plot. Think about what it's like to be in the story, and talk about what your toddler would do if he was in the story.

This is important because toddlers with Autism have difficulty understanding stories, so they may struggle to understand what you're saying. You can help by showing them the story in pictures, or talking through it.

Make sure you talk about what happens next. Your toddler may be able to watch the show, but may not understand what happens next.

What show is good for 2 year olds?

I'm having a hard time finding shows that my daughter can watch.

I have 2 and she loves to watch the same show over and over but it seems to be getting old. All I really want to do is find a show that she likes so I can watch the same show over and over again. She is just learning numbers and such so maybe it will help her to learn those things more.

My 2.5 year old loves Dora! He doesn't have a clue how she works, and yet he loves the show. If you've ever seen the show, you can't help but smile at the silliness. The problem is that Dora is geared for little kids, and my son already has a huge vocabulary, so he's starting to get bored with it.
