Does Hide Me really work?
By Mike Farr.
As you know, I have been very active on the Facebook page of Hide Me. You might not know that my wife, Karen, and I are co-authors of the book, The God Factor: Unlocking the Secrets of Spiritual Awakening (HarperCollins). You can get a good idea of what the book is all about by visiting this blog. Our book has been endorsed by Dr. Norman Vincent Peale, Jack Canfield and Mark Victor Hansen. We decided to try out our own version of the book and see if it could work.
The first time were invited to participate in the Hide Me program was back in 2025. We did the program for several months and it was interesting. We had several things happen during the program that caused us to stop. First, we discovered that the person who hid our posts would also hide some of the comments. This became very frustrating as we would often get comments from people we had not talked to in a long time. Second, some people liked the fact that were still at their places of worship. We wanted to be seen at church but we didn't want to go over there and get caught. I have no idea why people would do that but they would do it. It seemed to us like a lot of people tried to tell us what were doing wrong and not doing right. Third, Karen said that many times the person who hid our posts would not let her post either. We got into arguments because she didn't like what the person who hid our posts was telling her. Finally, we stopped participating in the program because it seemed like nothing was happening. It seemed like we would be there for weeks at a time and then we would hear about some other person who was going to be able to use the system. We also heard that the program would be a part of the next edition of the movie The Secret. We were getting a lot of the same things that we had when we did the program but no real results.
We thought that maybe we had done something wrong and that we had just failed in our experiment. We started thinking that perhaps we needed a bigger audience. The next time were asked to participate in the program, we had the goal of getting 150 people to be a part of our Facebook group and to look at our books.
Is there a free version of Hide Me?
I would like to download the free version of Hide Me.
However, I can't seem to find a download for it anywhere. Does anyone know where to get the free version?
Thanks for any help. Sage (on a phone). I guess I was looking at the wrong thread. I found an option to download the trial version of Hide Me at However, I can't see a way to activate the trial without logging in. There is no "buy now" button or anything like that.
If anyone is interested in testing Hide Me, let me know, and I can give you the download link. The problem with this is that it's basically an iOS app. The Android version is very nice but it needs root. It doesn't even look like it would be possible to install Hide Me on non-root devices since it is an ios app.
You could try getting the android app and using it like that. The only way to use the android version with root is to install a custom ROM on the phone which installs Hide Me. But if you do that, you won't be able to use any other apps from the Market so you will be limited to a phone that has custom rom installed
There's a website/service called Wappit that allows users to download app's for free. You have to login, but it's pretty cool, especially if you're a college student with no credit card. Plus, they make money off those with paid accounts that I think are really generous.
I just looked at it and there is no way to activate the trial unless you're logged in to their website. They don't have a "Buy Now" button, and the "activate now" button is only for the trial. You would have to pay for the full version.
This is the exact same thing that happened to me. I went to Wappit, clicked the button, and there was no option to choose a non-trial version. So I got the free version and can't log out. I've been on there for over half an hour now and they haven't responded to my emails.
It's not because I'm not paying for the full version, it's because of the free version.
How do I hide my IP address on my iPhone for free?

There's no way to do that. There are a few apps out there that will allow you to temporarily fake your IP address, but there's no way to make it permanent.
All of the IP spoofing apps will show you a fake IP address for the duration of the app. When you close the app the fake IP goes away. You can repeat this cycle as many times as you like.
To be honest, I don't see the point. There's no real reason to hide your IP address. You will never be able to hide from the NSA or the people behind you. The only people you should be concerned about being able to find you by IP are people in your home. If they know your IP, they'll still find you if you hide it.
If you're worried about being found by people who follow you on social media or on other websites then the best solution is to disable Google Search history. Go to google.com/history and click "disable".
This is a temporary measure and if you want to use VPN services you'll have to repeat this process every time you use a different VPN. 0
When you connect a VPN to your device you basically tunnel everything from your device into their network. This means your data has to pass through their network which makes it much easier for them to monitor it. So the answer is you can't "hide" your IP address.
But you can use different VPN services that will disguise your location, and hopefully mask the fact that you are using a VPN. You can try to change your location on Facebook and Google. In Google Maps, look up any location that isn't where you are. It won't work 100% of the time, but it's a starting point.

Answered. What are you referring to as "IP" and how would hiding that make you safer? I would love to hear a bit more detail about why you would want to do this, and what you are trying to protect yourself from. Please visit the Apple Support Communities and ask your question. Someone there can help you. If you do not get a reply, check to see if it was moved to the Ask Different subforum, as those threads generally get a better response.
How to use Hide Me on iPhone?
If you have to protect your kids or anyone else for that matter in an airport, bus or any public place you may need to use a screen obscuring device and here's one.
It's called the Invisible Traveling Kit, a pocket full of fun that features several of the products that make me an expert on what works best for this purpose
The Invisible Traveling Kit is a pocket full of fun in a box. My Latest Trip Video. This isn't a review. I am a huge fan of it.
It's not my job to talk your ear off about my latest adventure. The products in this kit were chosen with me but after all, if I had been a member of the press this is the product I would probably be talking about. At best, it's a great gift. That's why we sell them as gifts in our shop.
Now, how to use it? There's only one way to make sure you understand the way it works. Read this first and then decide whether you want to get into using it or pass on this amazing gadget.
Get a device that will do the job but doesn't make a big fuss about itself the device should have a screen that's larger than 11 by 17 and has a built in power source. They all do.
Be sure the device can block the screen on all sides. The Invisible Traveling Kit works well from all sides but there are some places where you may prefer to get more protection in more places. A window is nice so you can look out the window and not have the window open. You can also get devices with screens as small as 7 inches diagonal and work just fine. Some people also use an old iPhone case with adhesive and an external screen - they work beautifully and are less noticeable than the little devices we're looking at here. However, some of those do make a bit more noise, too, and can make annoying noises from time to time. That's why these ones below are just fine. However, this kit only works from inside the device - not from the screen or outside the case - so keep that in mind.
