What is the cheapest way to get STARZ?

I'm in the process of looking at cable TV prices and I came across some interesting stuff.

However, to get the most out of the STARZ channel, you'd need to pay for a Showtime subscription. So I was wondering, ? Do you have to buy a Showtime subscription? Or would a cheap enough basic 6-month plan get you STARZ for free? I have an HD antennae and I get a nice free HD signal. You just need to have an HD TV that supports HDTV (or use a HDTV box with the HD-DVR).

So, I started with that. I've been using it for a few months now. I have both a Blu-Ray player (an LG V10) and a Roku box. The Roku box is the best for cable TV programming. If you're wondering which model to get, I'll tell you right now, don't go with the Roku 1 or Roku 2. I got the Roku 3 a while ago, and it is the best in the market. The Roku 2 didn't play video in all formats. The Roku 3 does it all. The Roku 3 has a really great remote control that is great for moving the mouse pointer around. And you can also use the keyboard and the mouse to navigate.

The only negative I have with the Roku 3 is the lack of Netflix. It's available, but you have to set up a special login for the user. I'm sure that will be fixed in the near future.

The only reason I have not purchased a Showtime subscription, is because I enjoy TV shows online via streaming. My suggestion is to find a place where you can watch Starz for FREE. Amazon Instant Video is probably the cheapest way to get access to their shows. If you want to watch them on your laptop, there are a lot of free programs that will let you stream them.

Is STARZ free on Amazon Prime?

I have a few friends who live in the UK and I'm considering buying a subscription to STARZ on Amazon Prime.

I don't live in the US so I don't have to pay the higher price, but I was wondering if I should get it or not. It does look like you can get it for free if you live in Canada. My husband and I will be trying to get a subscription to Starz, but we have to wait for our Prime subscription to be activated first.
