Which NordVPN servers work with Netflix?
I currently have a Viscious VPN service but I have no desire to ever leave it.
So I thought I'd try a different service and came across NordVPN.
I have always heard that NordVPN had excellent customer service but so far they seem way better than what I expected. I have not found anything that says they aren't the same as other providers. I used to use a provider from a different area of the world and that company was a joke when it came to customer service.
There seems to be a lot of servers in areas where I want them but there is only 10 in Ontario, Canada which is ridiculous because I live in Toronto, Ontario. If I want VPN then shouldn't I be able to get more servers in my area, especially since the amount of servers the other companies use that do better than them are way higher. How can one of the leaders make such an obvious mistake. It just makes me question how good the servers that are there are.
My main concern is getting Netflix working right so I will give you what I think might work and why: Is this the correct information you need? Let us know what you think in the comments below. NordVPN Review. NordVPN Servers that Work with Netflix. If your looking for a VPN service that has servers that work with Netflix then there are a few providers out there: I chose NordVPN simply because they had more servers in Toronto and it wasn't too costly. In a couple of years I would have paid more money if I did it all over again. But in those 2 years, we didn't know all the servers NordVPN had which are necessary for it to work. Here is how the Netflix server listing in Toronto looks like today:
The following servers should work perfectly for getting Netflix working: 226.50.18 (Canada)
28 (United States). 23 (Asia). 22 (Europe). 51.11 (USA) 21 (Europe)
Why is my NordVPN not working with Netflix?

Is the service limited to the USA and Canada or does it work in all countries? If it is limited to the USA and Canada, is there any way to make it work? NordVPN: Thank you for using NordVPN. How do I get NordVPN to work on Netflix app?
If you are having trouble connecting to the Netflix app or streaming through Netflix, we can help.
At a first glance, it looks like your connection might not be working.
In this article, we will walk you through several possible reasons why you are unable to stream to the Netflix app. Check the network setting. There are 2 settings in the NordVPN app. We need to change one of them if you want to use Netflix.
Go to Settings > Network. The first setting should be on automatic, and on that setting make sure that Auto Configuration is enabled. We can enable Auto Configuration in this manner: You can also click Auto Configuration (in the left) and press the green button toggle it on or off. Enable Netflix proxy on the VPN connection. To start, connect the VPN to your computer. This means to connect to a server (the NordVPN server). Now, in the IP Address bar, type the domain name of Netflix. For example, if Netflix's domain is www.netflix.com, type in www. Click OK and disconnect the VPN connection.
Re-enable Auto Configuration. Log into the NordVPN app again and find the network settings. Disable Auto Configuration there again and select the Netflix setting.
Now if you open Netflix, the server will remember that you are using the VPN. Netflix will connect the next time you open it.
Check firewall rules. To know if it is a firewalled issue, it is very simple. Open a web browser, type the URL of Netflix and enter.
If you get a message saying that Netflix is not available in your area, then the problem could be with your firewall settings. Check DNS. The DNS is the Internet address of your website. If you see DNS errors, your DNS servers are not providing your browser with an address for Netflix's website. In such cases, you need to update your DNS servers.
You can download the DNS changer from the links below: How to use a DNS server. You can change DNS settings in many ways. The easiest and safest way is to open the web browser and type in DNS addresses or DNS servers (Google DNS, etc.
Does NordVPN still work with Netflix?
As of March 7th 2024, the company still lets you subscribe to Netflix, and will work with other VPNs if your ISP isn't willing to block it.
As our recent NordVPN review demonstrated, Netflix is a tricky proposition when VPNs are involved - but this should remove at least a couple of worries for some people.
I don't think there's a reason for them to leave the UK market. There are no laws that can be used to punish them here, and no real economic incentive to keep out anyway (unless a non-NordVPN IP costs less than one based in the UK). If the laws in the UK mean they have a problem with some kind of content, then they'll have the same problem elsewhere.
The "no reason" argument is a bit silly though - why even offer VPNs outside their own territory? It'd be like offering to sell stuff to a person outside their own country - but then charging half the price for the privilege of not being from their own country. I'm pretty sure the answer is "to provide cheaper prices". That goes for almost everything, not just VPNs.
And as for the no "economic incentive" point, it's not exactly true that a UK VPN will cost 30% less than a US VPN (not counting any extra connection fees). The main reason for that is that it's fairly easy to get an IP address outside the UK, whereas getting one in the UK requires something that is a bit tricky for a newbie.
It's not really a good answer to the cost argument either. There's two sides to the question: what percentage of costs would you cut to get a user base, and how well do that user base serve you (what share of the "market" is already profitable)? For me, the answer seems obvious (for a given number of users): cut all the ways in which I can save money so I don't care if I break my heart with a broken heart; then make up for that with a large userbase. So yes, I believe I can cut costs and increase revenues by having a lot of small, loyal users (and you can argue that they won't cut costs, and maybe in some cases it's true). But I find the same thing with other industries too.
Why offer VPNs outside your own territory?
