What is one movie everyone has seen?
Everyone has.
At some point, someone will ask you, Have you seen the new Harry Potter movie? You will probably say yes, because everyone has. There is no question that there are many movies people have seen and loved, and there are also many movies people have seen but never actually liked. We all have favorite movies. We all know that.
But what we don't always realize is how important those favorite movies are to us. I'm sure that if you asked yourself, What movies do I think I'll like? you'd come up with a list. But you'd probably forget to ask yourself, What movies do I think I won't like? If you didn't add those movies to your list, then you're missing out. A lot of times, you might not like a movie because you've seen it before, or you've seen it with someone else. Or maybe you just don't feel like watching it right now. But at some point in your life, you'll want to watch that movie. You'll want to see it by yourself, and in your own time. And when that happens, it's good to know which movies you'll actually love. So that's what I'm going to tell you. I'm going to tell you about my favorite movies. And I'm going to tell you why they're so special to me. These are the movies that I'll remember and talk about for years to come. If you want to hear about my favorite movies, then keep reading. Here Are My Favorite Movies. (And the Reasons They're Special). The Princess Bride. It's easy to dismiss The Princess Bride as just another fairy tale movie. But when you think about it, it's actually more than that. It's about love and hate. It's about finding your way through the world. It's about being a man.
What movies are everyone watching right now?
What are some of your favorites?
What kinds of themes interest you or do you just want to escape to faraway worlds or watch violence interesting ways? There's probably no better way to find interesting and/or funny topics than going to movies. You could search the Internet for them, but a quick search online might not get you very far (no offense). In this blog post I'm going to be discussing the films that have had the greatest impact on my life.
The movies that have most influenced me come from both film and literature, but I've limited myself to one medium for this blog post: movies. I haven't read very many books that have influenced my life in a very big way, so I'll give the honor to the movies.
Here's the order I'll list the movies in (from most recent first): 1) The Usual Suspects (1995) - I saw it during one of my freshman year (college) spring breaks. While at theater, I watched the opening scene two times in a row because I had a momentary lapse in concentration. If you're wondering what movie I'm talking about, here's a link to Wikipedia.
One afternoon at about 2:20 AM, we were drinking beer and watching TV when we stumbled upon an ad for "The Usual Suspects." We were pretty skeptical about renting it, because we didn't really know anything about the movie, but I still got totally caught up in the first scene: When the movie is over, I immediately wanted to watch the movie again, which led to me watching one of the trailers, learning more about the plot of the movie, getting hooked, reading on Wikipedia and watching the movie a second time. I was on Cloud Nine because one simple film can do this kind of damage.
The Usual Suspects is a well-known movie, but it's also known to many people as "Kevin Spacey's favorite film." I'm not really sure where this information came from, but Kevin Spacey even talks about the film in his book "House of Cards."
The film starts out with a series of robberies on a train. The only person who seems to have a connection to each event is Verbal Kint. He has knowledge about each area of operation and a strange way of referring to himself using only nouns.
What movie never gets old no matter how many times you ve seen it?
The answer might be The Rocky Horror Picture Show.
Everyone has their favorite version of the cult classic (we like the first one) but for those who are looking for a more detailed look into the history of this classic movie, here is The Rocky Horror Picture Show - A History: Part 2.
