Here is how I went about restoring my pictures from my android phone to a computer. 1) Go into your google account on your new android phone and backup all pictures there. 2) After the phone is set up as your main phone, go into the gallery of your phone, then click on your photos. 3) You should see an option, Restore Backup (or Restore all from backup).
