Why is there no sound on my Athome camera app?

I was using the Athome app to record video on my Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 but now there is no sound.

I can still record the video, but I'm only hearing the beeps that you hear on a VCR. In the "Setting" tab for the camera app I've tried all the choices in Volume setting that I can find. I changed the device from internal speaker to headphones and then back to internal speaker again but no difference. Does anybody know what's up with this? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Athome app missing sound. Unfortunately, it sounds like the camera settings for this camera are "stuck" or corrupt. It may be possible to fix this via USB, if you are in Win 7 or later. If not, you may have to take your camera off-line, unplug the USB from your computer, then try to recover the camera settings.

Try turning off the "power saving feature" (if you have one) on your tab before plugging it into a computer, this will sometimes reset the settings of the camera (as it appears to have happened for you). After a few minutes of trying these instructions first, and then looking through any other forums for help for you. Have you tried: I tried those troubleshooting steps you said above, and the camera works fine, the app has sound, I went into the settings of the camera app and checked the microphone settings, they seem good. I still cannot find a solution for why it doesn't work on some phones. What do you think I can do to fix this?

Is an athome camera free?

The camera looks pretty good to me.

It has a lense that covers the whole area in the room. It will only capture the subject that is in the area that it is pointed and no other object from outside the area. The battery of the camera can be recharged by USB, or you can turn on the light and it is possible to plug the battery via USB to a computer.

I think it will not be a problem to attach it to a post so the camera captures the picture while there is someone in the room. I am also looking for a video recorder that has a screen in the same fashion as a VHS recorder. I had a videocorder over at work. I bought my video corder because they were going to get rid of it, as it was not very useful, but a lot of fun to operate. I took the video corder to a friend's house.

What surprised me was that my friend's wife said that the video corder made her feel unsafe, because it was very easy for someone to come in, shut the door and record her at home without her knowledge or permission. I thought this would be an ideal device for my purposes, and to my surprise, the device was not used, the video corder was removed from the house.
