I think you mean Garlic salt is really the only thing that blocks vampires? Are there are any supplements or methods that block garlic? What if someone gets garlic and it takes 3 months for any of the garlic juice to make it way into their system? My cousin's sister was a vampire for about 3 months and her dad had garlic in his home and it totally blocked her power. This was over 5 years ago. The girl was in a coma for awhile and she was almost put in hospital. Can anyone tell me? I am looking for someone who understands this and I know my cousin's sister (her mother).

There is nothing that blocks garlic unless you are allergic to it. If you are not allergic then there are no known substances that do so. That said, garlic is very powerful and has been known to cause illness in otherwise healthy people. I don't like talking bad about garlic because I get sick from it and would rather not talk bad about it because I get sick from it. I will be careful not to offend you here.

There are supplements out there for blocking garlic on a daily basis which is a lot easier than being a vampire, but there aren't any out there right now. It's been a problem with garlic salt for years due to the amount of garlic juice being released when you break open a clove.

My point of reference is as a result of a small study done many years ago with 12 test subjects taking a garlic supplement at high dosage which caused a reaction. One of the first things to go was their memory. I have no reference to support my opinion that garlic might work. So be careful. Garlic kills cancer cells in lab rats. That might suggest something. I just don't know anything about it.

I use Diamond Crystal Kosher and it has no salt and no iodine, and I cook with it at home and my wife doesn't have any thyroid issues. So, I think there is something other than iodized salt or potassium iodide that might be helping her, but I don't know what.

I have been experimenting with using pink Himalayan sea salt in many foods instead of table salt. It has so many more nutrients, and if you heat it up, it can even taste good. You can get it from Amazon and I use it in my baking too. It is a nice, sweet tasting salt.

The general dietary recommendation for people in the USA is 2,300 mg of sodium/day, which is about half a teaspoon of table salt.

You need to think about the differences between types of salt, and what people think they are getting. That's the first problem: they aren't thinking about the differences. The second is that table salt can be high in magnesium chloride, which is an active mineral that gets flushed out of the body in the urine (along with all the other minerals, in part due to the kidney's ability to concentrate urine).
