Is TradingView real time free?

Is there free version of TradingView?

It seems many traders don't use the paid version because they don't want to pay for something they feel they should be getting for free.

Is there any alternatives? I do have an account with YCharts, but it's limited to 1 chart type, while TradingView has many types.

We use them at work and are pretty happy with them. The one problem we had is that one member of our team (that had a lot of trading authority) got frustrated because some features they wanted were not implemented. We were hoping it was a software issue and never used them again, but they have since added the features they missed, though we still don't have realtime prices.

I've been working with them for about a year now and they've been stable. I've also seen them respond quickly to issues and bugs. There are definitely some nice features and they get a bonus for you when it's your birthday. ;)

I love their mobile apps, and we use a few other charting/trading programs, but they're more than enough for my needs as a day trader and even swing trader. The one thing that I haven't tried is the option to log in with an exchange (eg, CME) or one of their partners, so I don't know how that affects it. I've really loved the mobile apps. When we go to the office, it's too hard to set everything up on the laptop (although I suppose that will be a moot point with the iPad). You can easily pull up the orderbook and place a trade. And the speed has been great; on my Nexus 7 (iPad 4), it's been just as fast as what I've experienced on the desktop software on my Windows laptops (i7 quad core).

However, I have been missing some of the features like backtesting. That's what really drove me away from YCharts after I had been using them for a year. It used to be so easy to backtest using their simulator, now all of a sudden, I couldn't find anything about how to backtest.

Is TradingView real time free?

We've received reports that there are some tradingview.

Com sites offering an unlimited free account, which appears to be a complete fraud. We have contacted tradingview.com and the owners of these rogue sites to take action. The sites will hopefully shut down in the next 24 hours. The best thing you can do is to avoid those sites and always use our official trading view system.

We wish to remind you that a lot of users are still using the old tradingview platform without credit card verification. Please make sure you are using the verified accounts before the new trading view site goes live on Thursday.

How to get full TradingView for free?

A few months ago I wrote about TradingView (see here). I got really excited when I found out that they released a version of their platform for free. Unfortunately, as with most free offers, you have to do some work for them in exchange for the free offer. In this post, I will share how I got my TradingView account for free.

I will be using the term 'free' as in 'free of charge', not as in 'for free'. The latter was already covered in my first article about the free TradingView version. If you don't have any TradingView account yet, you can sign up for one for free by clicking the 'free trial' button at the bottom right of their homepage.

The first thing you'll have to do is sign up for their newsletter. Every new user has to do this, and they use it to give a free account to all of the users who subscribe to their newsletter. It's also used to notify people when there is a special offer or event. Once you have signed up for the newsletter, you will get an email from them every week, telling you to log in to your account and verify that you're a human. You will then receive a link in the email to log in to your account and verify. The email is sent on Wednesdays (US) or Thursdays (Europe).

Verifying yourself as a human is really simple. You just need to check the 'I am a human' box and confirm your email address. From then on you can log in to your account.

You should also be able to access your account from the email address you signed up with, in order to see if you are receiving the emails and to set up a password. I had already received a welcome email, so I had my username and password set up already.

There is also a button you can click to receive an email with a link to your account (right at the bottom of the page). You can use that if you don't have access to your email yet.

The only thing you have to do after you've done that is to enter your username and password in the fields provided at the top of the page.

Is TradingView free worth it?

I was thinking about tradingview recently, as I like to get a free, low latency, real time view on the markets when I am trading.

However, my view is that it is not free enough in this respect, as my strategy is not a 'professional' one, and would not be used to make a living out of. So I am debating if it is worth using it to help me with my strategy? I have a feeling it is, but I have no idea if it is, so I am asking for opinions. Hi everyone, I also use Trading View and it is absolutely great for my work. It has saved me so many hours of work and is now very helpful for my research. It can't hurt to try it out and see if it's what you need. Good luck.

I've got quite a lot of time for this project and have been using TradingView since about early March. The basic question is - what use is it to me? As I understand it, the answer is a big "it depends". TradingView's interface is nothing short of gorgeous, and while I could never write trading software like that, I understand the value of being able to do all your work in a single window. On the other hand, there are three main functions that I use it for. It's really quick, it's only a few seconds to enter a simple order, or to set up a backtest, then minutes to generate a report. It's easy to backtest with my MT4 Strategy Builder and TradeStation, as well as my Excel strategy generator. And these let me know how the strategies are actually performing in real time.

I've found it to be a great tool to keep my eye on my portfolio. I've got my eyes on a dozen different time frames and charts, and this is the only way I can have a quick look at any one of them. When I'm on the road, I pull it up on my phone or laptop.
