How do I unlock the secret menu on Netflix?

I have it set to never automatically play a movie and it's still playing movies during the day and night. Help! I'm having trouble getting it to work. J

Have you verified that your settings are being applied and/or your settings are correct? I've seen this question come up a few times lately. It's usually because the customer hasn't yet turned on the Smart List feature that makes it easy to view the movies and TV shows recommended by their friends on Netflix. Or they haven't yet turned on the Auto play feature that controls whether or not your viewing history is automatically updated, or to make sure their viewing history isn't being shared with other members. To help address both of those issues, we recommend that you turn on the Smart List feature right away so that it makes it easy to see movies and TV shows recommended to you based on what you're already watching, and that you turn on the Auto play feature later, once you've been using Netflix for awhile. You can turn those features on right now from your account dashboard, so take a minute to visit your account dashboard. You'll find your Settings link at the top right. Click that link, then look for the Smart list or Auto play toggle and change it to the one that fits your preferences:

Now, what about the Playlist feature on your account dashboard? That allows you to easily access your most-watched movies and TV shows so you can start enjoying them again after Netflix pauses them for whatever reason (like you're switching screens). But let's just say that you know you want to watch a few new movies but you don't know which ones you want to watch next. The Playlist feature is a convenient way to quickly see and watch movies and TV shows as a whole, and then you'll find yourself back to where you need to be when you're ready to watch a specific movie or TV show.
