Is it worth the money?

It's been a little over a month since Apple unveiled the new iPhone X, but it's still not clear how the iPhone 8 will be different from the iPhone X. In this article, I will explain the differences between the iPhone 8 and iPhone X, and give you my opinion on how much the iPhone X is worth.

The big deal of the iPhone X is the facial recognition. This allows you to unlock your phone by face and pay for your purchases with your face, instead of using your fingerprint. The iPhone X also has a bigger display with a notch at the top, an all-screen display, no home button and a new A11 Bionic chip.

Why is iPhone X no longer sold?

Why is Verizon no longer selling the LG V30 ThinQ?

Why did Samsung shut down its flagship store in Apple's biggest retail market? These are some of the questions we get, and now, thanks to a recent update from the FCC website, we have answers to them.

Thanks to my contacts with multiple carrier and smartphone manufacturers in the industry, I have spoken to many people who know things that others don't. I then combed through publicly available documents from both FCC and the carriers to figure out what exactly is going on, and why all these carriers and manufacturers are no longer stocking the flagships were used to. What follows is a summary of some of the information, and how it may affect what you have read in the news.

The FCC has just posted a massive, comprehensive update to its site about the FCC's Wireless Equipment Certification Program and Spectrum Management. According to this FCC document, all four major U. No such note is provided for the Sprint or T-Mobile sales, but given the fact that no one seems to be selling iPhones at Sprint in the U. At the moment, it would be extremely hard for us to find new reasons for the phone to be gone from their stock, or at least, they are not providing any on this particular site. We should mention that all of the companies mentioned are still offered on all 4 major U. Carriers, however.

The FCC update even states that the FCC is concerned with the rapid decline in shipments of affected devices since their respective introduction, the lack of a significant customer replacement program or carrier replacement program, as well as the absence of any explanation for the abrupt and precipitous drop in shipments. In a separate report on U.

Is the iPhone X still worth buying?

The iPhone X is the new release for 2025, and there are quite a few things to talk about.

The design is completely different, but it's still not quite as good as the iPhone 8 or iPhone 8 Plus. So how does this one compare to those phones?

There's a couple of new features that might interest you and there's just a load of old ones that you might not see in another iPhone. Before I get into that, the price has gone up a bit since I last wrote on it in January 2025. At 999 you get more in the same price. At 1,099 you get even more, and then you also have the cheaper 64GB version (if you want to use it without contracts) and the more expensive 256GB version.

What's included? The iPhone X comes with a 6.1 inch OLED display that supports HDR 10 in all apps that Apple supports it. You also get a 3D touch display in the form of pressure sensitivity.

Then there's an all-new iPhone XS Max, which I haven't reviewed yet, but I will review when I do. It has the same design, but the display is 5.8 inches and is also OLED with all the same features as the iPhone X.

Other than that, you get the A11 Bionic chip with 2GB of RAM. The Home button no longer exists, so you use touch gestures. It runs on iOS 12 and the phone has two cameras, which is a feature I've already talked about. Is the iPhone X worth buying? Let's start at the end and work our way through. Price - Yes. At 999 you get an extra 4K display, more RAM and space and most importantly, a faster processor. If you're getting iPhone X and you want a faster processor, then just buy the iPhone XS. But if you want the iPhone X or an extra 50 then the processor in the iPhone X is good enough for most users.

Design and screen - No. If you're looking at this one, you want a more premium design with a bigger screen and higher price.
