What does an Unlocator cost?
Unlocator is a cloud-based platform, making it easy to locate the most accurate information in minutes, while giving you the privacy, control, and legal support you need.
We are very thankful for everyone who supports us and has bought our service.
Our Unlocators are free. You can search and save maps of your own area at no cost. Plus, if you're worried about where your kids might be, or if you're worried about someone looking for you, they're protected through our secure, private servers located in various countries across the world. So, what's stopping you? You'll be able to keep everything the same with a few extra things to help protect your privacy.
You will never have to pay us again unless we decide to change our prices, renew our services, or update our products. As a sign of our commitment to transparency, we make available information about how we operate here: www.unlocator.com/about-us.
Do I really need an Unlocator? Absolutely! Most of us have been stuck with bad and inaccurate local information. Our services are especially useful for families and employers, plus anyone who needs to find people.
If you're a parent you may have already used other tools like Fing and Locator to search for your child, but the difference is that we've built all of this from the ground up as a way to empower the user to get access to the right information. The best part is, now you don't have to trust your phone company, your GPS, or your computer, and all your location information is in one place. What's stopping you? Check out our testimonials: www.com/testimonials.
If you're an employer you might already be using some sort of device, but what do you do if you lose a key employee? What if you travel to multiple locations, but have to know where everyone is so you can get the right people together at the right time? How can you have the peace of mind knowing that everyone is protected?
Is Unlocator worth it?
The market for locators is getting really crowded, with companies like Unlocator, and Spotflux, which were founded in 2025.
95 per month. It does this by showing your location on a map, and also provides statistics about where you have been, how long you have been there, and even a summary of your location history.
If you want more detail, the premium service is only available to paid users. You can get it for free for up to five days, after which you'll be redirected to the premium page. However, once you have subscribed to the premium service, you can't cancel. You also need to keep an active internet connection when using the premium service, as it uses it to update your location.
Spotflux has a similar service, though it's a little different. For a low subscription fee, you can get your location history every hour, whereas Unlocator only updates the data when you open the app.
Both services provide similar features, but if you are just looking for a general overview of your location, I would recommend Unlocator. If you want the full package, and don't mind the higher cost, Spotflux is a better option.
How do they work? Both Unlocator and Spotflux use GPS to determine your location. They use your iPhone's GPS chip, which records your location whenever it is available. They also record where you have been, by monitoring your movement.
When you first open the Unlocator app, you are given a general overview of where you have been. It shows your total time spent at each location, as well as the total time spent at each location during your premium account. You can also view the locations you visited on a map.
In order to see the full history of your locations, you need to subscribe to the premium service. Once you have subscribed, you can view a full list of all your locations. This includes the time you spent there, as well as the number of times you have been there.
Is Unlocator the same as VPN?
Unlocator and VPN are different in that the traffic generated by the app is routed through our own network.
This means that if you're using a phone or a tablet, no personal data will be sent to our servers. In case of the VPN, your mobile/tablet/other device needs to keep in touch with our servers, so all the traffic generated by the app is going through them, which means it's highly personal and we may send your data to the government (or anyone) we share it with.
Unlocator can't work with phones in airplane mode or if your data is shared with some other companies. On the contrary, VPN is not limited to that and works with any device.
Why do you need a Unlocator when there is free VPN? If you only want to be anonymous, then there are many free VPNs out there, but they are usually weak in speed and have high bandwidth usage. Also, we don't believe that unblocking content on Netflix is enough of a reason to make it worth paying for an VPN.
With Unlocator, it's much easier to access blocked sites and watch videos, as you don't need to manually add websites to your VPN client (or change them often). I am wondering how secure Unlocator really is. What if they share my data with the NSA
Is that safe
I'm sure you understand that this is not a matter of trust, but of risk. If you trust them and pay for their service, you're not taking any kind of risk; otherwise, it's all about trusting them or not. You decide which one you'd like to take.
To protect yourself, you need to use another VPN app (with strong encryption, but not necessarily from us). If you decide that you trust us and would like to continue, you can enable more security features for your account, such as our kill switch and double encrypting. Also, your data won't be shared with any third parties unless we give you the chance to agree to it.
The question of "Who might own Unlocator? How would you react if they sell your data to law enforcement" has already been answered.
How long is the Unlocator free trial?
Free trials usually are a one month duration.
I am hoping for an additional month.
Will the free trial require that I subscribe to use? I did not receive a free trial from the Unlocator in my email. I do see you sent me an email with information regarding a free trial. Do you allow people to opt into the free trial if I do not remember to sign up?
Will I have any further options or addons after being accepted on the free trial? We will be releasing additional features for our customers on a time-based basis so if there are other products/services you'd like to try we will make them available to you too. Why don't you offer an unlimited free trial, then? We offer different payment models based on customer volume and their needs and it's our belief that for most of our offerings we offer the most value as a monthly or yearly price. Our team, customers, and the content we provide is really what sets us apart from the many competitors in this space.
Do you use any type of advertising on your site? In the past we've run some banner ads in our sidebar, but we've been careful about that, we want to make sure people see our content and not a commercial. But if you come to the site that's your call! Can I submit a question or comment that is not related to the question/comment I originally asked? Sorry, that's how this site works. Feel free to comment any other way on the website, Twitter, or Facebook.
