How to save proxy username and password in Chrome?

I need to download some files from web but it requires proxy.

It also asks for username and password, so how can I save this username and password? It's annoying that every time I have to retype it. I searched the internet and it said you can use in Chrome settings but it says "The page cannot be displayed" What should I do? To save proxy settings in Google Chrome go to chrome://settings/ and search for "proxy settings". You can see an example on this website: If you're using a private (non-public) wifi network, then there is no way to prevent you from entering your proxy settings into Google Chrome. The best you can do is to try to protect your proxy credentials in other ways.

For example, it's fairly easy to use a password manager to store the proxy credentials for you (assuming that you don't enter your credentials manually). Then when you're ready to make a request, you enter the login and password into the proxy and the password manager will automatically fill in the username and password for you. Password managers aren't perfect, but they're the best way to save proxy credentials. Here's a link to the top rated password manager, but there are plenty more.

Why is Surfshark not letting me login?

I receive a "Login not recognized" message upon starting to use Surfshark after several minutes or so (2 hours max) - but this is not my account, which logs in flawlessly. Why might this be happening?
If login problems occur then, how can I resolve this as quickly as possible. I have a question about the Surfshark software. If I buy the software through my email (rather than purchasing it via a credit card) will that put me into a special program that lets me get all future updates for free? Login problems may happen when using the app on a slower internet connection, if the update process needs to download data from our servers and the connection is unstable (like on a wireless connection). If you get a Login not recognized error while surfing, there is a problem with your connection, we suggest that you check and/or enable WiFi.

This is an optional option in the app menu, if enabled, we will add all future update automatically without the need of logging into the app. It looks like this will be the only possible way for getting future updates free of charge for a trial period of 30 days. I think it is because of the fact that I am currently connected to a wireless router. I would say that the connection between my modem and the router should not be that slow (it's been working just fine), but if it's actually the router, then it is the fault of SurfShark that it is not working (it never did, but it started working when I connected to the router). I will probably have to uninstall surfshark.

Sorry if this has been answered, but I checked and I do not remember it being answered here. I just started using Surfshark and I don't seem to have any connection problems at all. Everything works well, and it does help me out a lot in terms of increasing my overall speed. For some reason, once I updated the application to 1.50, I was having problems accessing the website. I believe it may have been due to the fact that I updated the software from the desktop version, instead of logging into the website and updating the application.

I have a proxy server set up on my network that I use to connect to some of the internet sites I visit.

It requires a username and password. However, I cannot seem to get any login info on any site I try to connect to with this proxy server. I have tried different usernames and passwords but it still does not work.

I have been trying to figure this out for the last two days. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Share this post. Link to post. Share on other sites. I think you are talking about a HTTP proxy, not a SOCKS5 proxy. HTTP proxies don't have a username and password.

No, I am talking about a proxy server that has a username and password (as in, you need to login to the proxy to get access to the internet).
