How do you get rid of this app is blocked by Google?

I would like to get rid of this "is blocked by Google" thing that I keep getting whenever I try to visit a page that requires an invite for access.

How do you get rid of it? Is there something wrong with my privacy settings on my computer? Go to Settings and go to Apps and select Manage Installed Apps. Scroll down to "Google Search" and press the "Delete" button. You'll be asked if you want to remove all apps from your device, do it.

In regards to the "is blocked by Google" messages that you get. It's caused by Google's own Android app. Here's a thread on XDA, you might get some help there.

3) When prompted, press "Delete all apps". It will confirm the action, and then it will open another dialog box. Click on "Yes, delete all apps".

That's it. Go to the Apps & Games screen, and if it's no longer there, press the back arrow.

How do I unblock a blocked app?

An update to my Windows 10 Mobile phone has caused me to be unable to access Skype.

When I open the app and attempt to connect, I am asked to allow access to the file system or sign in to my account. This option does not appear for me. The only way I can establish a Skype call is to use the Microsoft Messaging and Lync on the desktop (Windows 7). When I call with this, it asks for the account information which I know works.

How can I make Skype accessible? ? I uninstalled the app from the Store - no dice. I disabled the option to automatically download updates - no dice. I made the device's developer mode permanent - no dice. I've completely removed it from Device Storage - no dice. I was able to get it reinstalled in less than an hour. When I call, it asks for the account information. No way of getting into it at all.

Re: How do I unblock a blocked app? You can't. But, you can uninstall it and then re-install it as a side-loaded app. This is a fairly new process in mobile so it hasn't caught on everywhere yet. To side load an app you:1. Uninstall it from Device Storage2. Tap More -> Settings -> Apps -> Allow apps downloaded from other people3. Tap Other -> Select app > tap Install

For some apps/games I have had no issues whatsoever but for those that block certain permissions or ask for them to read/write in certain locations its pretty rare that I can't uninstall the app. But if you can't, here is a solution (in reverse order): I agree with what the other folks have said, if you can't find the app listed in the App Store you will need to side load it to another folder. It might be in the root folder of your SD card, in which case you would need to go to Settings > Apps > Side Loading on your device.
